Introducing the Universal Router Base Plate with Centering Pin by POWERTEC. This convenient woodworking tool adds precision to your routing applications, while offering a flexible option that accommodates a wide assortment of standard routers. It can be used for template routing, edge routing, shaping and grooving and works with inlays, straight and curved edges. Increased functionally permits routing along the edges to be easier and more precise by keeping your router leveled on the work piece, ultimately reducing the natural tipping that may occur when routing on a board’s edge. Features Made of durable, super thick 5/16 inch clear acrylic to give your work optimal visibility. Comes with a convenient centering pin to ensure solid and centered attachment to your router. Optimized with tested predrilled holes to convert a large list of routers to the more standard 1-3/16” Porter Cable style guide bushings. Includes multiple sets of screw sizes to accommodate router template guide variations. An ergonomic grip with an extended sized base provides added stability for simplistic cutting. Reversible fence allows edge routing with bits that don’t have bearing guides on both straight and curved edges. Ideal for cutting dados as well.
