This holster works great, except for the locking clip that secures the drill into the holster. It's too small and is hard to unclip because of the clip release angle. I wear tight, medium weight gloves when I work, and it's impossible for me to unclip that strap. I leave my drill unstrapped and it stays inside the holster, most of the time. Sometime if I swing my adze really hard, it will fall out, but it's better than ripping the pockets of all my work jeans.

It has some useful pockets and additional holes for other tools on the outside. I like keeping a #3, flat and spare #2 in the bit pockets (they stay in there and are easy to get at). A pair of tin snipes can fit into one of the other holes (2) very nicely. The material is lightweight and decent quality. It won't last a lifetime, but it will take a beating on a daily basis, for a year or two. Every holster on my belt (Custom Leathercraft I think) is DeWalt and I'm happy with the quality and performance of them all, for the price that I've paid.

External elastic pockets are useless.

Holster itself is ok, but don't put any bits in elastic pockets, you'll never see them again.

Absolutely wonderful product but only right-handed and I am left-handed ( actually I don't have a right hand with fingers due to an accident years ago ) so I do use cross draw ... Great for me and works just good enough while you're on a ladder any help will be better than no help - just don't drop it ... the only drawback to using left-handed so right hand should be perfect !!!!

Love it. My only 2 issues is it requires a perminate belt loop (no quick disconnect) and the clip to hold the drill in place get in the way sometimes, other then that It's great I use it everyday.. Well worth the price.

SO incredibly handy when using an impact driver. I used to put the driver on the ground, hold the piece in place with one hand, screw in my mouth, then bend down to pick up the driver...stretching and usually moving what I was holding. It was a mess. Now, I holster the driver without even looking, hold the piece in place, grab the driver without having to look, and drive the screw/bolt.etc. I imagine the same would be true for using a drill. Handy pockets for driver bits, drill bits, bit holders, etc.

I can't speak to durability yet, but will update if there are any issues.

As any DIY enthusiast knows, the cordless drill is probably the #1 tool for home projects. Having a dedicated holster to securely hold the drill and also provide ready access seems pretty obvious, but I hadn't seen one before tripping over this DeWalt holster around the Holidays.

Typical DeWalt quality (I mean that as a compliment). I affixed it to my work belt, and have been using it regularly ever since. It fits well with my DeWalt cordless drills and impact drivers, can't speak to other brands.

Good product, recommend it.

Received this & now can't live without it. I keep multiple bits (driver & drill), rotary grind stones & rotary rasp, markers, wire stripper, tape measure, etc, ... neatly organized and at my finger tips in this drill holder. No fumbling thru 5 clothes pockets to find the one item I need, only to find it was left "over there". Have one for both my drill and impact driver.

I'm a DIY sorta guy and the last few months have been project-heavy. I finally invested in a carpenter belt/apron to avoid having to run back and forth grabbing tools I use regularly. Unfortunately, my drill didn't come with a belt clip.

Enter this thing. It works with both my DeWalt drill and driver. I expect it'll work with most drills, DeWalt and otherwise. Drill stays secure, and it's even got a strap for extra security.

There is nothing worse than trying to use both your hands and needing to keep a drill/impact near by. This holster takes care of much of that hassle. Because the holster attaches to your tool belt, you have a great place to store your drill/impact for when you need it. The pockets for other tools are also very convenient.
