Do not buy!!!! Contains glass shards.

Terrible! My puppy is pretty small so I thought I would cut the bits in half. While cutting I found glass-not just a small shard-but multiple shards plus bits of very sharp bones. I would never buy this nor would I ever recommend it. We will be contacting Wellness Pet Foods as soon as they are open. I'm only giving 1 star as amazon will not allow a post with zero.

With a name like wellness, you'd think they'd have the dogs interest at heart, but just like almost all the rest, they've got to add things that some dogs can't tolerate... The label says "all Natural" but then they add Smoke Flavoring to the product to lure the owner. Both my dogs develop severe gastritis and diarrhea from "smoke flavorings" and I'm sure they aren't the only two. I was in a hurry and only scanned the ingredients list. I give myself the ONE STAR for not looking closer at ingredients list when I ordered. Wellness is another product i can strike off my shopping list.

My Yorkie loves these treats and they're healthy!

My Yorkie is no longer a puppy at 4 years old but she likes very small chewy treats. She has been gaining weight because the treats I give her are larger and I thought these Wellness Soft Puppy Bites may be a good treat for her IF she liked them. She is oh so picky. This bag of treats is small but there are quite a few little square softish treats in there. They are a bit bigger than a dime (see photo) and soft. It doesn't take much to chew these. Obviously for little puppies that is ideal.

The ingredients are quite good with lamb and salmon being the first two. These are quite healthy and small enough that they won't pack on the pounds even if I give my dog a few a day. the price is steeper than mega bags of treats but with questionable ingredients so I am OK with it. I especially would be careful if my dog were still a puppy as their digestive systems are still developing.

I have not had any issues with my dog having watery stools or gas as I have read in some reviews. It may be because she is older or it just may be how some dogs and puppies react to certain ingredients. My dog loves these treats and is happy with two or three a day. I wish I could buy them in a bigger quantity but I suppose that would defeat the purpose of keeping my dog's treat level down so she doesn't get fat. I am pleased with these for the ingredients and my dog loves them for the texture and taste. I would feed a puppy these treats and feel good about it. Naturally, if the puppy had any digestive side effects, I would stop using them. But if not, I would treat my puppy without guilt because these are healthy snacks.

I don't feel I should have to break them apart

Normally I read a few reviews before buying something on Amazon, but took the high star rating since I was in a rush. We had mini training treats when we first brought home our puppies, but went through them quickly as we only had a small amount left.

These are a really good product however, for our puppies, we need smaller treats. I don't feel I should have to break them apart or cut them into pieces before using them, or during potty training, as there are times I need a treat IMMEDIATELY, and a puppy cannot understand WHY they aren't getting their reward as I stand there trying to rip one apart.

If someone wants to purchase these, as is they are a good size for a breed of puppy who is on the larger size. If you have smaller dogs, AND wish to cut these into smaller pieces, have at it. I'll just find some grain free MINI piece treats.

Good soft medium value treat for pups

I bought these for my 8 week old pup and he took to them immediately. I love that their ingredients are meat and plant-based, not filled with grains. My puppy seems to love the flavor, and the scent is atttractive enough to hold his attention but not so much it's stinky.

Compared to other treats we have tried, they are easier to tear into smaller portions and soft. One treat can actually be four treats by tearing it into smaller bits. They are good for training or a quick reward. We've used them to teach sit, stay, and down so far with good success, and are already reordering after about 3-4 weeks. Make sure to reseal the bag so they don't dry out!

great for training and everyday treats

My dog loves these treats. They are the perfect size for training & reinforcement. He is a small Chi mix about 10lbs. and prefers softer side of food/treats and these are his favorite. I have subscribed to them monthly to ensure he will always have his favorite snack.

I LOVE these! They are bite size for my little mouth and soft and chewy the way I like. Nom, Nom, Nom.

Great for sensitive stomachs

I have a 6 year old rescue toy poodle, she's missing some teeth and has a real sensitive stomach. We use these treats for her along with the crunchy bites. She loves them, and these soft ones can be easily torn into smaller bites if you are worried about calorie intake. Good ingredients, and not an outrageous price either ( dog treats are getting ridiculous for some brands as far as costs go) only drawback is the package is hard to dip your hand in without both hands and does not reseal easily. I take them out and put them in a different container.

I watch my son's and Daughter in Laws 13 year old Teacup Yorkie who weighs 3 pounds.(The runt of the litter) .The dog is Healthy and active but has very few Teeth left so with the recommendation of his Vet we started buying Wellness Soft Bites a few years ago so he is not deprived of his treats.He loves these Soft Bites and gets crazy happy whenever we pull the bag out he knows exactly what time it is.Though these are small perfect for Puppies we do break them in half due to his digestive system and because he eats them like he is in a eating competition.Love that they are grain free and feel confident knowing we are giving him the best! The bag is rather small but they do last long because we only give him a few a day as recommend.I also appreciate they are not harming what Teeth he has left.We also buy the Wellness Puppy food which he loves.I would recommend this for your Puppies and also older Dogs especially those who do not have all there Teeth anymore.Will always buy this Brand and price point is cheaper than our local Petco where we live and they get delivered right to our door. Very Convenient having prime.

My dogs favorite treat

Earlier I reviewed my dogs favorite dog food, now it's time to give 5 stars to her favorite treat. She is a rescue from a puppy mill and I have spent the last year building trust. I have purchased several foods and treats watching her reaction with the introduction of each. You can tell when it is consumed just because they are hungry and when they are excited and happy because they love what you just gave them. I have purchased and then given away several dog foods and treats that she didn't seem to care for unless she was just hungry. When I pick up these treats she comes alive, jumps around wagging her tail and that makes me happy too.

I am trying to train a Yorkie to use his pee pads- - These are wonderful assist tools- he loves them- no tummy problems which was my main worry-I do break in 4ths- - He was just neutered and a bit angry about the cone he was having to wear- these helped with wanting to gnaw the one as well- --I bought two flavors- and several packs- they zip up really well and stay fresh--
