Since 1999, American artist Susan Lordi has worked in partnership with DEMDACO to produce, market and distribute Willow Tree , her line of carved figurative sculpture. From her studio in Kansas City, Lordi hand carves the original of each figure. This piece is cast from Lordi's original and painted by hand. Enclosed inside each fitted packaging box is a gift-giving card with piece title and sentiment on it. Each piece is intended to be open to interpretation from the viewer. I bought this figure when my beloved companion of almost 14 years was diagnosed with cancer. As others had done, I painted the cat to match my kitty's color and unique markings. Now that she has passed, seeing this little figure cradling a representation of my sweet girl is an ease to my heart. It is adorable and a perfect keepsake.

I normally don't write reviews on products, especially ones that I buy for other people. But this is the cutest gift I have ever bought. I was not expecting the excellent quality that I received. The original packaging was intact and it appeared as if I could have bought it from a Hallmark store. The figure was smaller than I had anticipated but I think that is what makes it so precious and quaint. I could not be happier with my purchase. I will definitely resort back to this website and account when looking to buy Willow Tree figures. 100% recommend!

Bought this as a gift for my stepmom who lost her fur baby unexpectedly. She cried when she saw it and immediately placed it on display (it's not easy to make her cry). The only *issue* is that the figurine is a little small (but I knew the size when I bought it) I would just prefer a slightly bigger one. Nonetheless, it arrived on time and intact.

A beautiful figurine to remember my daughter's best friend who just crossed the Rainbow Bridge while my daughter was away at college. I shipped this to my daughter to remind her how much the two of them loved each other. It is a precious figurine!

I received a willow tree holding a puppy from a family member when my dog passed away and it made me feel so much better that I would always have that little statue to look at and remind me of her. So, when we had to put my cat down, I bought this to remind me of her on my low days. These are beautiful!

While it is smaller than I expected, it is certainly as sweet as I hoped. It would fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. It will look great on my desk and serve as a reminder for why volunteer work in rescue is so important.
