Product Description
This sash lock is constructed of diecast zinc and comes finished in a white baked-on enamel. It features a 5/16 in. narrow keeper with 2-1/16 in. mounting hole center spacings on both the keeper and cam-action latch. This sash lock can be used on vertical single and double hung sliding windows, as well as on horizontal sliding windows. It can be used on windows constructed of aluminum, wood and vinyl sash and frames.
Features
- For use on vertical sliding windows constructed of vinyl that both lock and keeper have 2-1/16 inch on center mounting holes
- These locks mount on the check (or “meeting”) rails of single and double hung vinyl sash where their checkrails rest flush when closed
- Features cam-type locking mechanism designed to grab and pull the keeper and vinyl meeting rails firmly together, providing tighter seals and increased security
- Overall width on both keeper and lock is 2-1/2 inch, the depth on the keeper is 5/16 inch and depth on the lock is 1 inch
