This Anderson Metals coupling compression tube fitting is made of brass, has a flared tube connection and a female NPT connection, and is suitable for use with fuel and gas systems. It is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. This fitting can be used with copper, brass, aluminum, or steel tubing to connect two tubes of the same diameter in a straight run. It has a flared tube connection on one end and a female National Pipe Taper (NPT) connection on the other, creating a tighter seal than straight threads.
