A gateway candy...by Alexander P. (5 out of 5 stars)

These are the old-school candy cigarettes, although they don't SAY "cigarette" anywhere on the box because hey, let's face it, these are a gateway candy. You start off on these and eventually you're onto bubble gum cigars, Big League Chew, and then, heroin. These are the good-tasting ones, too, not those chalky nasty ones that came about at one point. And you can't beat the price--24 packs for $9! A hell of a lot cheaper than a real pack and looks just as cool rolled up in the sleeve of my grease-stained white t-shirt.

And watch them contort themselves between inability to confront you and the internal struggle while they think you are a bad influence on little precious. A must for any family gathering if you have relatives like mine.

I really need to not like this product. It's very very similar to the candy cigarettes I used to get when I hung out with my parents at the taverns in Marshfield, WI. These remind me of when the adults would polka around the dance floor, men and women would smoke and drink while I colored in my books...pretending to smoke.
Every time I have one of these I can hear that old song "....you picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille."
Doesn't look safe to eat.

Old or poor quality gum
by J. Garcia (2 out of 5 stars)

Consider this more of a novelty item. You can still blow a puff of "smoke" from these though it's hit or miss. A blast from my childhood past. I don't quite remember the gum itself being of such poor quality, though. It seems like every 3rd piece I chew mostly falls apart and the ones that don't tend not to be soft enough to chew comfortably without getting a good jaw workout. It has a tendency to REALLY stick to your teeth. I bought the 24 pack, handed out a few packs to acquaintances during the holidays but also made sure to warn them of these issues.
I had an old (chipped), metal dental filling that I stupidly enough tried to chew on the gum with and the hardness of the gum helped me crack the whole filling right off of the rest of my tooth. My fault, but I mention it because I don't suspect the wrigley's gum I usually chew would have done the same.
I suspect the gum may just be old. Though I, and others I've shared these with, got an initial kick out of this blast from the past, the quality of the product does not allow me to rate it at more than 2 stars once the novelty of it has worn off.

SO INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED! Every box in the carton is stale. They are soft rather than crunchy. My favorite all time candy and these are disgusting. Cant even be eaten!

I LOVE candy cigarettes. I love that I can eat an entire pack and it's only 48 calories. I am ecstatic that I can buy an entire case of these online and eat them at my leisure. My husband bought me a case for my birthday, and they were perfect. So when I ran out I repurchased them through this same seller, and ate a box today. They were soft/stale. So disappointing. Will I eat the rest anyway? Heck yeah. But I'll probably try a different seller next time.
Yesss!!

Ok for starters they came early always good, secondly they were all here, all full, a few were stale but that's literally one maybe out of every pack which is awesome compared to most. 10/10
60th Birthday Party Hit!

Purchased these along with other nostalgic candy for a 60th birthday party and these are surprisingly what everyone went for! I was a little surprised to see what a kick the guests got out of these - people were taking photos with them and asked to take them home to show others. Definitely worth it. No, they are not the tastiest of things but those that used to eat them decades ago thought that the taste was pretty consistent from then to now.
Great party idea.

Celebrated my nieces tenth anniversary in Vegas. I made bags for each of our family members attending and put these cigarettes in each bag. Some of the guys rolled them in the sleeve of their t-shirts, others put them in their front shirt pocket and they kids thought they were fun. The adults also enjoyed them and talked about stories about when we were young.
