It broke with the first use. Look for a one-piece handle.

The fork section of this RSVP Endurance Stainless Steel Fantastic Food Fork broke off the handle after less than 30 days(just a few uses). I was not able to contact Hold n Storage until after the 30 day return policy and they refused a refund but said they would contact the manufacture. Since then they have gone silent. I realize that it is not an expensive item but it should hold up for more than a few uses. Others have had this problem with this fork so there appears to be a quality control problem with the weld job. I Would not recommend that anyone purchase this item regardless of what supplier Amazon is offering it through.

Great for some uses

This isn't quite as sturdy/heavy construction as I anticipated so that is the reason for 4 stars. I had watched a video and thought I would use it a lot. It is nice and happy to have it but doen't replace the standard traditional hand held pastry blender (in my opinion) for everything I felt I might use it for. I do a lot of cutting hard butter into my dry ingredients and do prefer the hand held pastry blender at least to get the butter cut in -- then can use this to finish. Probably good for other applications because it is a nice tool.

This is much better quality than I was expecting. I just received it and have found I reach for it all of the time. I ended up putting it my utensil holder instead of the drawer because you can do much more than just cutting in butter. I think I'm going to buy another one because this thing is so handy. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that cooks!

Nice fork but...

In my opinion, the fork is weak and wimpy. The tines were crooked straight out of the package; however, it was easy to straighten them out by hand with a minimum of force. Way too easy, actually.

I am not confident this fork has enough oomph to cut cold, hard butter into flour for pie crusts, biscuits, etc. so I'll have to find another.

Rather than return this item for a refund, I've discovered it's a perfect backscratcher which is why I'm rating this fork as a 4 instead of a 2.

Bought this blending fork to make pie crusts and dumplings, it is great! and the handle is solid not like some others that can get filled with water and easer to use than the old fashioned u shaped blender.

My Aunt gave my mom a "gravy fork" to make perfect gravy every time (from back in 60's)...My mother used this as far as I can recall just to make gravy and sauces. I have looked off & on for decades for a "gravy fork" that is the only thing I ever knew it as..happened across this a few weeks ago and was so excited I ordered 3 one for me, one for mom as hers is getting pretty worn by now & one for a friend.. This is a bit different than the old one, however not bad, the change actually makes it a bit easier for making gravy because of the change in angle of the handle... It works great for gravy & sauces...I am so thrilled to finally have my very own gravy fork!

I love this fork. I use it to mix pastries, to put spaghetti on a plate, for stir-fries, etc. I'm still finding ways to use it.
