I was skeptical about ordering this skimmer, due to sum of the reviews stating that the item that was received was made in China, NOT Germany. I don't normally worry about that IF it's a quality product.

Thankfully, the one that I received CLEARLY has a German label on the handle (see pics), is quite solid & even the plastic bag had German translation.

I ordered the wire version, which prob made a difference, since it seems that the perforated ones seem to have the Chinese labels (from what I've read).
