Product Description
A common injury that young chefs face is separating the syrup, water, or other preserving liquids from their canned ingredients. Instead of endangering yourself by handling jagged metal lids to make a strainer, use Jokari's Snap-On Can Strainer. Simply snap the strainer onto the top of an open can, invert it over an open sink, draining all the unwanted liquids. Only one is needed: Jokari's designs makes it possible to drain different sized cans using only one strainer. Each strainer is designed to fit over a standard sized kitchen sink drain, removing the need to clean the sink basin up after using the can strainer. This is also a great time saver. Instead of having to balance a can over the sink, you only need to place a strainer on the can, tip it over in your sink, and then go back to preparing the rest of your meal. Dishwasher safe, this gadget is a must have for any kitchen.Features
- EASY TO USE: Any new chef can use this gadget with confidence. Snap a can in place and flip it!
- VERSATILE: Designed for cans of various sizes.
- TIME SAVER: Attend to other meal preparing duties while draining juices. By the time your salad is chopped, your olives will be drained to top it.
- DISHWASHER SAFE: When the meal has been prepared and all there is left are dishes to wash, just pop this strainer in your dishwasher.
- SAFE: Parents can let their children help in the kitchen by using a Jokari Snap-On Strainer. No more cuts from jagged metal can lids!

I would of though that the plastic would of been a little more thick.by Marcus Nunez (4 out of 5 stars)

My can opener takes the entire top of the can off and this requires the little extra size of a can that would be left if I used an old fashion top cutting opener. Yes, there is a new can opener style that does not come in contact with the contents of the can. It cuts around the top instead of down into the can. This thing still does the job but I have to hold it on to get it do drain. I hope they make a new one for the new style of can openers.
Neat Little Device!

This is a great little device! I often use canned tomatoes but wish to keep the juice from them separate; I used to use one of those funnels with a strainer in it, but the holes are too small and got clogged easily, and the funnel itself got loaded with liquid while it was in the bowl. It was very frustrating. The holes in this are larger and allow the liquid to pass through more easily. I found it didn't work the way it is supposed to for tuna fish, because the strainer dips into the can, and there isn't any room for that with tuna; BUT: I just inverted the can over the holes from the front, flipped it over, holding the can in place, and it worked fine! Glad I got this, it sure solved one of my most annoying problems.

This comes in very handy for straining multiple cans of beans. Living in MN it is cold 6 months out of the year and we make a lot of chili, so I use this item OFTEN. Definitely not something I can't live without, but it allows for multi tasking while the beans are draining.
One note, the strainer portion dips into the can, so I have to take it off to rinse the beans between drains. Otherwise the beans or whatever is being drained are kind of packed into the can by the strainer.
Should have had this year's ago

It is fantastic. I set it on top of a cup, and put what ever I have to drain in it. And while I'm making my meal it drains for me. So inexpensive and can use it many ways
Good for straining the liquid but....

The can strainer is great for straining the liquid out but not so great if you need to press out the remaining liquid like you would on a can of tuna or the like. You actually need a strainer size that's just a tad smaller then the can itself for that.
Waste of money

This doesn't snap on as reported. I used a normal size can and had to hold it on in order to drain it. Not at all what I wanted.

I hated always using a huge strainer to drain beans or corn so when I saw this I thought I had to get it! I finally got a chance to use it and at first I didnt know how to worked, I just tried to push it on and then I found how it really works and I am in love! It is so easy and small and easy to clean! Im going to be recommending this to everyone I know who does a whole lot of cooking!

Great product. Very handy in the kitchen for thoroughly draining canned fruits, beans or veggies when recipes call for it. It will work for cans up to the 28/29oz size and the 'wings' will allow the can to be held upside down over small bowl or glass measuring cups including standard pyrex 4 cup measure (just). Much better than using a colander since can will not flop over and also easier to clean than colander. Small thing but I love it.
Works Great!

I've only used it twice so far - I don't use canned good very often). But it works great. Seems to take a bit of pressure to get it to clip on correctly. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it as I use it more. It was nice though, to put it on a can of olives and turn it upside-down in the sink, letting it drain on its own, while I went back to cooking.
It's alright

I will give this 3 stars because it would probably work great for cans of fruit and veggies but horrible for squishing the excess water out of my tuna. Going to have to find another kind now
