Transfers to Skin After Dry

This mascara is pretty nice and the price for it is great. It is not my favorite mascara but it works pretty well. I like pretty much everything about it aside from the fact that it transfers onto my skin after it has dried. It is nice and dark and separates the lashes nicely and adds a good amount of volume and length and also does not irritate my eyes. But I would go for a different brand before this one just because it really transfers quite a bit onto my skin after it has finished drying and I find myself having to wipe under my eyes and up by my eyebrows where my lashes touch because it deposits black onto my skin. It just makes for a problem when you are also wearing foundation or eyeshadow, you just keep having to wipe off black marks around your eyes and I have used other brands of similarly priced mascara that don't leave me with this problem.

The best mascara for sensitive eyes

Have been using this mascara since high school. My eyes are sensitive and tear easily. This works for both top and bottom lashes, is almost fragrance free and removes easily with micellar water then a quick wash with Baby shampoo. Recommended over mascara three times the price

Every time I think it's time to expand my horizons and try a fancier mascara, I always wind up going back to this one. It's a classic for a reason, with excellent coverage and no irritation. Brush is a bit smaller than what you'll find with some brands, but it's easy to apply.

Good for sensitive eyes

Over the past year, I have been having allergy issues with my eyes and had almost given up hope of finding a new mascara that didn't leave my eyes itching and burning by the end of the day. I hadn't used Great Lash since my teens, so imagine my surprise to find this works better than more expensive brands. Thank you for giving mascara back to me!

First Time Mascara User

It's OK.

I've never worn mascara before and expected something that didn't clump my eyelashes together (sounds dramatic but it's not that bad, just a little annoying). Do buy this product, but just know that you also have to keep dumping your brush into the solution. The very end of the brush is where all the makeup is, so you have to apply it on your eyelashes from there and use the rest of the brush to even it out.

I'm sure other mascara is like this, but you get what you get.

You really can't beat Maybelline mascara for the price. It goes on nicely and doesn't cake. Word has it that professional make up artists like Maybelline Great Lash because it works as well as more expensive brands. I've tried other more expensive brands with and without fibers to lengthen lashes, different types of brushes, and formulas, and I always come back to this one because it does such a good job for the price.

Oh. My. God. What in the hell have I been doing! I bought this on a whim because I needed quick mascara. This stuff is amazing! I use better than sex mascara and They're real blah blah blah expensive mascara. This is so much better. Why why why? I am so mad at myself for all of the money I have waited. Buy this and give it a try. I will never use anything else

My favorite mascara ever!

I love the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara and have used it for years. Blackest Black, Black Noir, whatever black mascara they have works for me. I no longer wear contacts but have occasional dry eye, so between the mascara and eyeliner, I'll have smudging as the day progresses. I can't lay blame on a particular product when I'm putting in eye drops. My favorite thing about this mascara is that it's washable. Others may say they're washable, but I am not interested in tugging and pulling at my lashes to get remaining mascara off, or washing a second time....that's why I use this mascara and will continue to do so.

A great mascara from Maybelline...

I absolutely love Maybelline's Great Lash! I have been using Great Lash for at least 40+ years. I have tried other mascara's from Maybelline and other cosmetic companies and I always come back to Great Lash. I was blessed with long lashes but with this mascara my lashes go from long to super long, I am always getting compliments from women and I always tell them to try this product. I'm also very glad that Maybelline has not discontinued this product as it sometimes happens and I will continue to purchase Great Lash as long as it's on the market.

I have never strayed from this one. Makes my lashes look like spider legs.... I use this alone or as a layer under my dramatic falsies mascara. Either way, it rocks. Using this for over 30 yrs..... it does run if your lashes touch ur skin. Rubs right off
