We cook every day many times a day. A true 5 star productby Brock Estee (5 out of 5 stars)

Old school works the best, for us. No toxic fumes. Everyday Staples, such as chicken, cook better and more evenly than in non stick pans. More predictable results. too. You can actually brown meat without ruining the pan. This size is perfect and weight for our household, we have the the 10 inch size. It is not too heavy, infact...very easy to manage. Clean up is a breeze (yes you read that right ) ((it is not non stick. )) Use a good sponge, soak if you need to, and squirt lime or lemon juice and it finishes to a shine, brand new. also baking soda and vinegar gets burn pans new. We bought many variations of non stick before admitting to ourselves that our issue was the products just werent that great and maybe it wasnt us "ruining" them. Like a lot of you, I am sure, we blamed ourselves. Oh, the heat was too high etc. FIVE STARS for everyday use, value, and very good results. Just ordered a second one.
So happy with this skillet!

This skillet is everything I've come to expect with Farberware. Classic lines, well made, and performs like it cost much much more. After years of cooking with nonstick pans; I've went back to stainless steel for the culinary benefits. It cleans practically as quick as nonstick, does not scratch or peel, and sauteed foods come out so much better tasting and looking. Those who have trouble with food sticking need to browse the internet to learn the best technique for cooking with stainless steel.....yes, there IS a technique!

I had a good basic Swiss Diamond fry pan. It actually wore through to the base metal after a few years. This Farberware pan is an inch smaller around than the Swiss Diamond pan, but it seems to be an adequate size.
I have a few requirements in a pan: It should be heavy weight to make it unlikely to warp - barring my misusing it. The handle should not be fastened with food catching rivets. It should have a lid. It should be easy to clean.
Nothing beats stainless steel for ease of cleaning, but it heats unevenly. This pan has an aluminum core to solve that problem. It is heavy weight. The smooth shiny surface makes it a whiz to clean. It is also smooth where the handle is fastened. It has a lid. The sides are a little straighter than I would like, but I use a different spatula to compensate. I wouldn't even take off a star for the straight sides because it is otherwise perfect.
Compared to Revere Ware, it is heavier. And I am pretty sure the surface won't wear off the way it did on my Swiss Diamond pan.
Poor Quality

Had this pan about 3 months and the handle is coming off. Plus, the inside of my pan seems to have some finish or something that is wearing off, really lame for a pan. My old Farberware pan was really old when it died but I won't buy this brand again.
Non-stick and cleans up beautifully!

I've used Farberware pans for over 35 years and have always liked them. I had a skillet that got lost in a move, so I bought this to replace it and couldn't be happier. It's as non-stick as a cast iron, but cleans up easily with no worries about
rusting. And the lid is a bonus! Nice price, too!
Burn food come off easily. Set the pot aside

I have used my Faberware Classic Series pot and fry pans for the past 30 years. This was a replacement for the one that I had accidentally thrown away. Burn food come off easily. Set the pot aside, in a couple of days the burn food will dry up and it is ready to be washed. These are better than any Teflon pots.
A great pan

I own almost every fry pan made such as Scanpan, Circulon, Innova, Joyce Chen, Calphalon, WearEver. The Farberware is by far my favorite. The pan heats quickly and evenly. The wash up is great and it goes in the dishwasher without voiding the warranty! My other pans have to be treated with kid gloves and I have to threaten everyone, "don't put them in the diswasher!" So of course, the Farberware is also the favorite of other family members especially when they have clean up duty. You can spend more money on a pan with a fancy European name but WHY when you can spend a reasonable price and get a great pan from Farberware. I use the 10" fry pan daily. It's a good size for our family of four. it's great for eggs, one-pan meals, frying fish and other meats. I love that it has a lid so I can poach, simmer and steam. My other fry pans don't have lids. The classic line is not only functional, it's very pretty and can go from stove to table.

We bought this to replace one we've had for over 20 years. I absolutely love that it's a little deeper than the original and that I could still match the rest of my Farberware.
Not as Heavy as Old Version

I purchased this pan as a replacement for one we have had for 30 years. Replaced because of handle falling off after the 30 year usage. The new pan feels so much lighter than
the old pan but I am hoping it will conduct heat and cook as well as the old one. My husband has suggested finding some stainless steel screws to plug the holes where the handle use to be so that I can still use it.
Love 'em

Gotta love the classics! I recently purchased this pan and a 6-quart pot for use with an induction burner. I found that the stainless pots I own would not work on induction, so I was looking for something that would work well. I haven't owned Farberware in many years, but I love the retro look and familiar quality of the pan. It does the job, cleans up well, and works GREAT on induction burners. Still a great value after all these years!
