I put a second layer of closet shelving in our Walk in closet. It's great! We have twice the hanging space. I had purchased the oringinal product at Home Depot. I was lacking this part. They didn't have it at Home Depot.

It's working out as expected. No complaints. It fit well and supports the front part of the shelf not connected to the wall. If I put more shelving in I would buy it again.

ClosetMaid Corner Support, White enamel painted finish, allows the shelving edge of a ClosetMaid shelf to be supported by the strength of the perpendicularly mounted edge of another shelf. Mounts over a wire rail of one shelf and under the wire rails of the supported shelf.
