Purchased an Instant Pot (IP) Feb 2013 and it has been a work horse in the kitchen since. In 2017 I consciously started self-experimenting with the Keto diet. Historically my IP gotos were bone broths, ribs, and before dabbling in Keto, pulses. While bone broth and ribs are awesome, I did not use the IP to its full potential. Welcome "The Keto Reset Instant Pot Cookbook".
IP directions are simple and easy to follow. Love how each chapter starts with a picture index containing the final dishes in the section, plus there are larger, fuller pictures throughout (looking at you Cauliflower Mac and Cheese!). What really impressed me was the receipe diversity; I'd never would have thought to use the IP to make desserts. Nor would I have merged pumpkin and pork together in the way the Spicy Pork and Pumpkin Soup recipe does, so good! Would have I tried to make Cabbage Shumai at home without the IP, no! Now this dish is my new favorite fridge snack.
Each meal has left me more than physically satiated, I feel mentally satisfied with no food coma or lethargy. Combine that with my own choice to do intermittent fasting (IF), I physically cannot eat quick enough to try more recipes! To all new Instant Pot users, I wish I had a book like this when I initially purchased my IP in 2013. Extending that idea, I dream about having an IP and this book when I was at Univeristy. Imagine eating less grains, ramen, etc by using the IP to make cheaper fattier cuts of meat! Low carb works for me and this book saves me time.
Delicious recipes, even if you don't follow a keto diet.

Probably one of the best Instant Pot cookbooks I've seen. I bought it because I try to follow a Keto diet, and I "borrowed" my mom's Instant Pot while she was on vacation. Last night she told me that whoever had posession of the Instant Pot needed to have this cookbook as well. That is high praise from her, since she doesn't really understand or approve of a "high fat" diet. She agreed the recipes look very tasty/
The recipes in clearly written, don't require an extensive list of specialty ingredients, and the ones I've made have been delicious. While its not meant to replace the Instant Pot user's manual, the directions are specific enough that I could set the Instant Pot correctly without referring to the manual, despite never using it before.

I really dislike cooking - I dread Sunday meal prep for the week, but enjoy the benefits of healthy, tasty meals.
One reviewer criticized the content as being beyond what the average family would ever want to consider. I do agree that this is not mac and cheese with chicken patties... Good thing I was not looking for that... When I received the book I had a 3 quart Instant Pot Mini and was dismayed that the recipes were for the larger pots - 6 quart and above.
I thought about tossing the book and pot, but decided instead to halve the recipes and was so glad I did they all turned out fantastic. My first attempt was the seafood soup, so good. I kept on trying new recipes until I decided to give away my mini and purchase a new 6 quart pot. Many of the recipes are easier with available glassware and other inserts that usually only fit the larger pot.
I am very happy with the cookbook.

I wish there were more dinner recipes. There are a lot of basic recipes like how to make hard boiled eggs or artichokes. There is a big focus on breakfast as well which I could have lived without...I decided to return the book due to lack of recipes I will use and had to pay shipping. So instead of getting a book I really liked and would use I had to pay money for nothing. There are way better recipes online and places you can look up the basic information provided in the book.

The ingredient list and cooking directions are super clear and easy to understand, which is a big deal since the different models of the instant pot have variances in what we see on the front panel buttons. This book covers all the details.
The list of optional items that are useful when cooking in the instant pot is a great idea to include. I've been using my IP for about 3 years and wasn't aware of some of the newer things that can be used in it.
The recipes I've cooked so far have been winners and are things I would cook again in regular rotation. Looking forward to trying the Osso Buco very soon as the photo looks amazing.
Lastly, this book provides a slew of entrees, sides dishes, and desserts that will answer anyone's question of "what can I bring?" or "what can we serve?" when going to potlucks or hosting dinners. Anybody would love these dishes, not just keto folks. It's real, easy food.

This book takes the intimidation out of trying to remain faithful to the ketogenic diet while using the Instant Pot pressure cooker. Well thought out with an easy-to-follow format, the recipes I've used have turned out fantastic. The macros for each dish are also included. Thanks for another great tool for the ketogenic journey!

As with all of Mark Sisson's books, this one is well-researched and well-written.I've only had the book a few days so I have not tried too many recipes yet, but the couple I've tried have been very good with good combos of ingredients! I've had an Instant Pot for quite a while now and I even learned a few new things from the very clear directions at the beginning of the book. The recipes go along nicely with the Keto Reset Diet book, also by Mark Sisson. Keto is all the rage these days, but this sensible approach by Sisson and his co-writers make keto accessible and sustainable by all. The recipes for an Instant Pot just make it even easier.

I've only tried a few recipes since I got the book a few days ago, but all of the ones I tried are really good. I love soups, so I can't wait to try all 9 of the soup recipes, especially the Pho. I also really appreciate the simplicity of the layout on the recipes where the ingredients are listed neatly to the side, then with the instructions next to it in an order list. So easy to follow with the book open in the kitchen. The section on instapot basics was also very helpful for an instapot newbie like me. Oh, and the images of the food make your mouth water.
Great Recipes! Delicious, simple, easy....

I bought this book after listening to a Primal Living podcast interview between Lindsay Taylor and Layla McGowan where they discussed the creation of this book and some of the recipes. I randomly chose a recipe on a daily basis and have yet to be disappointed. Very simple recipes and easy to make. Way to go ladies! And thanks to Mark Sisson for making it happen.

Neat book but a bunch of food people would order in a 5 star restaurant and the ingredients aren't easily obtained either
