Super cute puppet and graphics for my baby girl, Mary Jane. If you know the sing song rhyme of Mary had a little lamb then you know there is some repetition "Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb". But the book will say simply "Mary had a little lamb". Which to me is no big deal. I sing it to my daughter the way I know it. She is 8 months and still loves sitting on my lap and watching the sheep head move around and being sung too. My 4 year old son even helps and moves the puppet head around while we sing. This a great way for him to be more involved with her. I am definitely buying more once I can decide on them. So many options.

The book was in great condition exactly what the seller described and arrived promptly with no issues but I guess I was hoping for something more engaging or longer. My son loves these little puppet books but the nursery rhyme ones are over right away with only a few words on each page. The other ones about specific animals are much better. I don't dislike these books I love them but I would highly recommend skipping the nursery ones and only getting the animals.

My lambs fleece is not white as snow. My book came dirty and packed terribly this is going back. So much for a gift in a pinch. This looked like a used sandbox toy.

Patterned after The Itsy Bitsy Spider finger puppet book (our grandbaby's favorite), this one does not disappoint. It is sturdy and chewable, with vivid and appealing illustration, and follows the song/story line. It is well-made and has just enough movement activity to stimulate a baby and hold its attention.

baby loves all of these little books so much! I always stick my little finger through and can tickle him to pay attention. they are great! although I don't think he looks at anything except for the animal haha
