These cards are absolutely beautiful. I am so happy this is the animal oracle deck I settled on. It didn't take long to feel a connection and know I made the right choice. I highly recommend purchasing this deck if your looking for an animal deck! ❤️

Delightful animal oracle!

The cards in this deck are about 6" by 4". The deck is a tad large for my hands, but I knew it was going to be big when I bought it and wanted to obtain it regardless of the size. I personally prefer smaller decks. The card stock is thin for the size, but sturdy enough that it won't be easily marked or scratched. Shuffling overhand long ways works well enough.

I looked at a lot of oracle decks before buying this one and only one other animal oracle deck came even close to the splendor with which this deck was made. Not only is the art amazing, but the author throughly thought out the meanings of each card and drew upon cultural history for their significance.

Being an oracle deck, I do find it significantly more in the positive light than the tarot, but I think the intention here was to have the support of these animal spirits in life. She does address a bit of the shadow side in the meanings, mainly from the aspect of how that area of life may be lacking.

I appreciate that two animals are included which are of the fantasy world and our local companions of dog and cat are also in the deck, as well as a personal choice card, which can be used to envision a spirit of an animal which is not in this deck.

Personally, I do find the leaflet with the spread a bit of a nuisance to use and would prefer to simply have the spread included in the book, but overall, I am happy with this beautiful deck!

I LOVE Ms. Bergsma's artwork. I have several of her prints throughout my house. The art work on the front and the back is absolutely gorgeous. The back of the cards feature a medicine wheel with the respective animals at each direction; as well as the seed of life image and stars in the background. I love this animal themed oracle deck. I would highly recommend this deck for anyone looking for an animal themed deck.

I was about to buy the Animal Spirit Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid, and then this deck shown up. It's hard for me to choose between these two decks so I ended up buying both. I'm so satisfied and happy that I decided to buy this deck. I connected to it right away, the art is sooooo gorgeous! This is one of my favorite cards from this deck: Dragon Spirit

This is EASILY one of my favorite decks (I have many... been acquiring decks, on a regular basis since the 1980's) .... The artwork is beautiful; the card messages are inspirational and the supplemental book reading offers both sides of the personal awareness "coin" gently and supportively. North American inhabitants as well as those from other Earthly and a precious few non-Earthly locations are included. If you choose to purchase this wonderful creation, ENJOY!!!!!

Holy cow. What a beautiful Oracle Deck. I've been wanting this one for awhile. Mainly because I was so curious to why there were 0 bad reviews, and now I can definitely see why! It vibrates very nicely. The feel of the cards and it's container is verrrry nice. They are a little big, and even though I have small hands I had no issues shuffling them. The guide book is great too! Bonus, it comes with a small poster sized spread suggestion! I didn't read any reviews on this, so I'm including it in mine. What a nice surprise!

If you have been waiting to get this Oracle Deck, I would just go ahead and do it now!

Depth of detail due to color shading.

Lovely deck. I like the variety of animals represented. Depth of detail due to color shading. Use your intuition, booklet or both to guide your reading. Yes stock is a bit thin but no worse than most sought after decks. Why don't the creators stipulate in their contract that stock must meet a certain higher standard.? Well, I guess we all know the answer to that. Easy to shuffle. I have several wonderful decks that I use and they all seem to have the same type of card stock. Each deck vary as to ease of shuffle, due to the finish I suppose. The decks that speak to me
(that is what is most important to me) I keep and adjust to the card stock and shuffle. If we don't resonnate.. back they go. FYI.. Mystical Shaman Oracle deck is a bit sturdier. Check out Kindred Spirits Tarot on ***Tube. She uses a variety of decks through out her daily readings which give one a chance to see if a deck seems to speak to you and how they hold up with use. She is not sponsored btw.
