Spectacular for any young Ghostbusters fan!

This is a GREAT little book for young Ghostbusters fans! I'm a mom of three boys, and have been a Ghostbusters fan since I was a little kid. Ghostbusters is a huge part of my childhood, as well as my adulthood. I love the movies, the cartoon, everything. So naturally my own kids are also huge Ghostbusters fans. My oldest is almost 6, my middle is almost 4, and my youngest is one. The two older boys are obviously the only ones who are actually into it so far, but they have seen the original movie MANY times already, and simply adore it.

We don't usually go to the movies because it's too expensive for our family's budget. However, when the 2016 movie came out, I had to make an exception. The boys were psyched! They loved it!

And then I saw this awesome book a few weeks back and HAD to pre-order it. It just arrived on our doorstep about a half hour ago, and as soon as my eldest got home from school, we dug in. They loved it, I loved it... and even the 1 year old got excited when he saw the adorable renderings of Slimer and Stay Puft.

Stellar book. Love that it includes both the original Ghostbusters movie and the new! Even though my boys have been raised on the original, the 2016 version blew them away and is definitely their favorite. I am including a picture of my almost-4-year-old, pointing to his favorite character (Holtzmann), and saying that he WANTS TO BE HER FOR HALLOWEEN.

SURE YOU CAN, little dude! If I've been one of the men-Ghostbusters in the past, you surely can be Holtzmann, who is freaking amazing.

DEFINITELY pick up this fantastic book if you have any little Ghostbusters fans in your house! The stories are shortened (it's a Little Golden Book, after all). Definitely aimed at the younger set.

Highly, highly recommended!

Great combination of the 2 Ghostbuster Golden Books

Note: This book is both the Little Golden Books Ghostbusters Book Combined. (Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters: Who You Gonna Call?) I mistakenly ordered this and both the little golden books not knowing this is just a large book with both those stories.

Anyway...Really cute book with great pictures. My 6 year old loves it and was so excited Little Golden books came out with Ghostbuster's books. These are appropriate for all ages and the ghost pictures are great. A must have for anyone who loves Ghostbusters or Golden Books. Note: There are some larger words so these are not ideal for beginner readers.

My son is obsessed with Ghostbusters, and he LOVES this book. The pictures are great and he even has some of the text memorized, and I hear him reciting it to himself!!! He's only 5 years old, and he hasn't learned how to read yet. He has flipped through the book so many times, that most of the pages have had to be taped up, and just last week, the whole book detached from the cover! I don't think it's the book maker's fault though. My son is constantly carrying this book everywhere, and he even sleeps with it next to him at night, because it's his comfort item! I may even purchase another one of these books because I don't think the one I bought (a Christmas 2016 gift) will withstand his love for it forever!

I've always been a fan of the original Ghostbusters and I really enjoyed the new one too, so when I saw this pop up on my homepage i knew that I had to pre-order it for my girls! The graphics are very nicely done and they convey both movies very well without being too 'scarey'. Very happy to add this to our book collection... I know it will get read a lot!

this collects the story of the 1st/original & the reboot. it's worth having if you're a fan of ghostbusters and your kids are too small for the movies. (it also saves you heartache from watching the cartoon series with your kid; unless you're into penance.) the bad news is: it has the story of the reboot with it. the good news is: the reboot storyline in this book is actually tolerable.

A wonderful book! My 5 year old kids OBSESSED with Ghostbusters, and this book has the best of both world; the old & the new Ghostbusters. It has 2 different stories within one book, another bonus. It's a large book, which I prefer for reading time. My son loves this book, and I love reading it with him. What's not love, I mean is The Ghostbusters!

Reading your kids a bedtime story hasn't been this fun in a while. OG Ghostbusters story is great with awesome illustrations. 100% legit for the Ghostbusters fan. Follows the movie storyline and has a good amount to read per page. Reads through in about 7-10 minutes, depending on your style. My kids love this one

I had little golden books growing up and loved them! They were so easy to find in my bookcase because of the gold bindings. I bought these for my 6 year old nephew and he loved them. The words are big enough for him to read and the quality is great!

Cute book for my Ghostbusters-loving 5 year old son. Great illustrations and sums up the kids favorite parts of the movie. I accidentally bought two books and kept them both to keep one at his Grandparents house. Another classic "Little Golden book' to add to our collection! I've had the book for a little under a week and have been asked to read it to him every night since.
