It also includes a short historical insight into the Maronite Church, a description of some of the most famous Maronite monasteries, particularly those where Saint Charbel spent many years of his monastic life, and a brief explanation of the history of Northern Lebanon.Saint Charbel’s Feast day falls on 23rd July in the Maronite calendar but is celebrated on the third Sunday of July. It is celebrated on 24th July in the Roman Catholic calendar.
