Product Description

Forget about drilling, filling, and the inevitable billing. Your teeth can heal naturally because they were never designed to decay in the first place! They were designed to remain strong and healthy for your entire life. But the false promises of conventional dentistry have led us down the wrong path, leading to invasive surgical treatments that include fillings, crowns, root canals and dental implants. Now there is a natural way to take control of your dental health by changing the food that you eat. Cure Tooth Decay is based upon the pioneering nutritional program of dentist Weston Price, former head of research at the National Dental Association. Dr. Price’s program proved to be 90-95% or more effective in remineralizing tooth cavities utilizing only nutritional improvements in the diet. Cure Tooth Decay is the result of five years of research and trial and error that started as one father’s journey to cure his daughter’s rapidly progressing tooth decay. With Cure Tooth Decay you will join the thousands of people who have learned how to remineralize teeth, eliminate tooth pain or sensitivity, avoid root canals, stop cavities -- sometimes instantaneously, regrow secondary dentin, form new tooth enamel, avoid or minimize gum loss, heal and repair tooth infections, only use dental treatments when medically necessary, save your mouth (and your pocketbook) from thousands of dollars of unneeded dental procedures, and increase your overall health and vitality. Cure Tooth Decay provides you with clear and easy to understand dental facts to help you make healthy, life-affirming choices about your dental health. It is about healing cavities without dental surgery or fluoride. Cure Tooth Decay highlights include: conventional dentistry's losing war against bacteria, why people fear the dentist and what you can do about it, the power of butter to heal teeth, the difference between healthy and unhealthy fats, specific dietary and meal plans that highlight the types of foods to eat every day to remineralize teeth, a simple cavity-healing program that is easy to follow, the cause of dental plaque and an amazing technique to reverse gum disease, safe dental filling materials, how to find a good minimally invasive dentist, how to prevent root canals, how to monitor tooth decay at home, toxic vs. non-toxic tooth cleaners, your bite: a hidden cause of cavities, understanding ideal jaw position and TMJ dysfunction, how to save your wisdom teeth, x-ray proof that cavities can heal, how to heal children's cavities and find peace, why women get cavities during pregnancy and how to stop it, and so much more. Real Testimonial Highlights: Dr. Timothy Gallagher, president of the Holistic Dental Association says, "Cure Tooth Decay is treasure-trove of wisdom as it takes the mystery out of dental health." Mike, Oregon. - “The practical advice in this book really seems to be reversing my tooth decay!!! Halleluiah, brother!!!” Pam Killeen, NY Times bestselling author. – “The protocol in this book is very effective for preventing and mineralizing cavities.” David, Idaho. - “This is a very different type of health book, written from the heart. ... who went to see the dentist and I was pretty sure she was going to need work done on ...
by JSmith (5 out of 5 stars)
April 20, 2017

I have a toddler who went to see the dentist and I was pretty sure she was going to need work done on her front teeth. They were chalky all over and yellow near the top. Sure enough the dentist recommended that the front 4 teeth be capped. I kind of freaked out because she would have to be sedated. I read this book. I had 2 months until her sedation appointment, so I thought I would get give it a month and if I saw some improvement I would approach the dentist. Within in 2 weeks her teeth were shiny instead of chalky. The outer 2 teeth look almost perfect. One front tooth is looking great. The other is still struggling, but the bottom part of the tooth is is white and shiny. Before I would have said the two front teeth were in the same state of decay, but now the left one is markedly better. The dentist is willing to work with me and X-ray her teeth every 6 weeks and see if we see improvement and sees no reason why we need immediate work done as long as we do not see them worsening. Yay!

What I did:

Took out all refined sugar from her diet. No candy or juice - except orange juice - fortified with vitamin a and d. I still let her have fruit, she eats mostly frozen mangos and bananas.

Very little processed food (an occasional cracker or bowl of pasta)
1-2 cups of whole raw milk (I purée it with banana and freeze it and call it ice cream because she doesn't like milk that much)

Bone broth chicken potato soup - I buy a rotisserie chicken from Costco each week. We eat all the chicken and then I take everything left over and boil it in my crock pot for 48 hours. I then make soup from the broth. I add all kinds of veggies and potatoes. She loves sipping the broth.

I also sauté my veggies in virgin coconut oil.

I brush her teeth 2x a day with coconut oil.

At night she takes 5 ml of fermented cod liver oil. I know this sounds crazy, but she seems to like to cod liver oil. She just lays down and takes it. She even swishes it in her mouth sometimes and calls it yummy??!

That all I have done and she no longer complains about her teeth hurting. I take her to the dentist for X-rays in two weeks. If I remember I will let you know what the dentist says. Crossing my fingers!

Update *****

Took my daughter in for x -rays. They showed decay really badly just on the one tooth I was worried about. The others looked like they might be "arrested", meaning the decay was halted and he would feel comfortable waiting and watching on those teeth. The dentist was very surprised there was no decay on the back of the teeth. He was very willing to work with me on whatever I wanted to do, but recommended getting teeth fixed because of the danger of the cavities progressing and losing the teeth. I have her scheduled to have the teeth fixed at the end of April.

I have been doing some research and am going to try eggshells (recommended 1 crushed eggshell a day. You boil them and dry them and then put them in a banana smoothie). I update this is I remember. Here's to better X-rays next time.

Heals more than my teeth

I realized that what this book says also applies to my degenerating spine. Having done it, my back started to heal too. I realized that if my teeth were falling apart, than that maybe that also has to do with my back and I believe I was right too. I noticed as my teeth healed, so did my back.

Toddler's teeth healed!
by Dana Burke (5 out of 5 stars)
June 17, 2018

Excellent book! My toddler started showing some decay on two of his top teeth. The dentist diagnosed him with bottle rot and then pulled out a book to show me the inevitable course his teeth would take. I asked if there was anything I could do and he said no. I called bs on that. I found this book and immediately put it into practice. I made both of our diets clean. I still do fruit but limit it. His teeth have remineralized. His appetite is still meh so I suspect he may have a lip tie and a tongue tie. We're getting that checked out soon. Teeth can be fixed but it is a process. I saw results immediately after giving him the supplements after every meal. Raw milk had a huge difference too. We also used Poofy Organics toddler tooth paste, coconut oil with grounded up egg shells, and ozone gel for teeth. It sounds very crunchy but his little areas of decay have filled in and his gums are pink and healthy. I still breastfeed him. You do not have to be a victim of tooth decay! Changing your nutrition and adding supplements will get your health in order.

... begun to have significant dental issues and it seems like even though I do all the dental treatm
by Harbinger of books (4 out of 5 stars)
April 25, 2017

In the past five years I have begun to have significant dental issues and it seems like even though I do all the dental treatments nothing really changes. It is like everything was great for two or three years and now it is back to I need scaling and my gums are inflamed despite the fact that I followed all of their rules. So I thought before I spend thousands of dollars more maybe I should try something different. Since this book is based on the work of Dr Weston Price I decided to give it a go.

The first thing is there is no one size fits all I think you have to know your body and make choices based on your needs. Based on the book I have implemented a few changes and it has made a big difference. The first thing I did was ditch my toothpaste and mouthwash for products without glycerin, I added oil pulling with clove oil or peppermint every other day and the water pick in place of flossing every night, finally I added a ton of oil to my diet and fermented foods. As an example, I added a four-ounce glass of goat Keifer (in the morning) a pickle or pickled beets at lunch and four ounces of kombucha or red wine (at dinner) every day. Then I added in black seed oil and the fermented cod liver oil and MSM with chondroitin. As for the food suggestions, it was a little much but I added in more steamed veggies cooked with grass fed butter with hormone free meat or sustainable fish cooked with ghee and reduced my sugar intake. In six weeks the brown spots in the middle of my molars have disappeared, my teeth are not sensitive anymore, my gums do not bleed and my teeth look whiter. Additionally, my ankle no longer hurts and my hair is shiny. I am now searching for a dentist who follows this tradition but I am pleased with my progress.

The only reason I took off a star is because I think some of the nutrition seemed a bit contradictory like for calcium why not eat more leafy greens like spinach or swiss chard? While I like the fish oil why not black seed oil and what about things like turmeric, mustard oil or garlic? Also, I am not sure raw eggs or blood products are a sound nutrition choice given the lead time in receiving food.

Then again if you are not sure what to do or how to start give it a go.

Avoid the Blue Ice
by Ann Cameron (3 out of 5 stars)
January 15, 2019

This is a convincing well written book, and much of it may be useful. I haven't read elsewhere to confirm that signaling from the brain causes re-mineralization of teeth, but it seems very likely that many of us with dental problems and cavities are low in calcium and phosphorus. However, check the comments of a man named David Gumpert who points out that many leaders of the Weston A. Price Foundation, Nagel's group, including him have died from a variety of cancers and heart problems--including the author. The Blue Ice supposedly fermented cod liver oil products he boosted are actually not fermented and are sold rancid, accodring to Gumpert, and cause many health problems. I am led to trust any information in the book without confirmation from other research.

Parents must read!!!
by allison (5 out of 5 stars)

I just started the book, I am 30

pages in and my head literally hurts from the information. I feel so foolish for not realizing how teeth are affected by the diet we consume and the bacteria we feed. My children have been plagued with bad oral health and lo and behold, phyctic acid and so many other things are to blame. Oatmeal, whole grain, sugar.... oh how our diet and world of food is about to change. I can't quite wrap my head around what I have been brainwashed to

believing is healthy. I am 31 and I feel like I have been naive to what is actually nutritious for my family and yet it isn't my fault but rather the fault of modern diets. Even with cutting out HFCS, artificial dyes and juices, we still have bad oral health

and I was baffled-- until now. I ordered the cod liver oil and ghee butter and purchased some grass fed hamburger thus far and intend to hit the ground running with the regiment with bone broth and veggies and eggs. I have a 3 year old son with a severe sugar addiction (sugar bug Baby) and I have a feeling he will be the toughest to transition to real food and nutrients. My 9 year old daughter needs 2 Root canals on adult teeth already and my 6 year old needs 3 pulled due to decay. I'm heartbroken and obviously driven to fix what is causing all this distruction. I can't wait to see the results and to update with great news. Definitely buy this book especially if you're a parent. It's just crazy how we're denying our bodies what they need!

you have to actually do what the book says, ...

you have to actually do what the book says, and it works. if you can do the foods in a big way for a full 6 weeks your results will show. it takes 6 weeks to heal a broken bone, why not that long to heal teeth that are absorbing? doing this will help decrease osteoporosis, i should think.

just like the author promised
by Amazon Customer (5 out of 5 stars)

I followed the suggested guidelines outlined in the book and my tooth quit hurting, just like the author promised! All the information given here correlates to what I've read before and is very reasonable. The author made me realise how much sugar (straight and in forms of fruits, flour and grain) I consumed and also cleared up why we don't need to eat grain and eat nuts and seeds only in moderation. Essential information about overall health that's very simply put in straightforward instructions (eat this, don't eat this and here's why). I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in being healthy overall, not only have healthy teeth.

This book really helped me.
by Fiddle nut (5 out of 5 stars)
October 9, 2016

I liked this book. Finally someone breaking step with modern dentistry and offering an inside out approach to dental care. The recommendations on diet that I made changes in were to incorporate more healthy fats in my diet and lessen my sugar intake. Within one week of cutting out sweets, taking the recommended cod liver oil and oil pulling with coconut oil 90% of my tooth pain went away. A month later I had my regular check up with the dentist and this time had x-rays taken. I was pretty nervous because when I bough this book the pain in my teeth had been to the point that I thought they'd be doing root canals on me. CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH! X-rays looked great and my mouth was in perfect working order!

AMAZING! IT WORKS!!!!
by Unicorn Reviews (5 out of 5 stars)
January 7, 2019

TL;DR: It works if you follow it. It really works!

SO....(story alert)

I breastfed both my children. Both of them had pretty bad eczema, but my second had horrible eczema and she was eventually put on Benadryl and hydrocortisone, after battling the eczema naturally for over a year.

I was not informed that Benadryl would slow/halt saliva production, making her teeth unable to re-mineralize (this was before the Harvard study that came out, saying that teeth remineralize, in 2016). So anyhoo, unbeknownst to me, her two front teeth were forming caries (pre cavities) in the back. We went to a dentist, not too far from our Ivy League community, and after being in her wonderful office, with all of the "child friendly" devices, she promptly told me that my child would have to have surgery, immediately; and most likely be either put asleep for the surgery or put in this board/straight-jacket get up.

She also looked at me as though I were purposely abusing my daughter, by feeding her a diet of pure sugar, when she had examined her sister mere minutes before, and saw a perfect set of teeth.

I was guilt-ridden and almost depressed. I started researching immediately. I found this book on a blog (mommypotomis) and we began: the special cod liver oil, the dietary changes, etc. and IT WORKED.
