Product Description

Bionic boogers return in the seventh book in this #1 New York Times bestselling series by Dav Pilkey, the author and illustrator of Dog Man!

George and Harold thought they were beyond boogers. Their new pet, Sulu the Bionic Hamster, had defeated the Bionic Booger Boy, and through the wonders of science, Melvin Sneedly had been brought back to normal (well, almost normal). It looked like their last adventure was actually going to have a happy ending... except for one thing (well, three things) -- the Ridiculous Robo-Boogers. Now George, Harold, and their buddies are on the run -- with the Robo-Boogers in hot, gooey pursuit! Will the boys get away from these gross globs, or will Sulu have to save the day again?

FANTASTIC, Simply Great

Pilkey's books are funny, intricate, a little gross, and REALLY well-written. They even make adults think. My son's been hooked on them since we stumbled on them when he was in preschool. This is his 4th C.U. book. Even though these books sometimes have boogers and superglomofumulogating hypercontronic mongo acid in them, they are worth buying, every one of them, because they encourage children to read, read, read! My 6 year old has a vocabulary and reading level of that of abouy a 9 year old. He even disappears to his room, as a 6 year old, to read ON HIS OWN. Really nice work, Dav. Love it.

Epic battle with 4 year old that wants to know how the book ends...
by SomesayyesIaskwhy? (5 out of 5 stars)

So my 4 year old loves these books ever since we saw the movie in theaters. It's gotten him interested in reading and I haven't heard him laugh so much as this series of books. It's very clever and has some jokes for older kids and adults (nothing too crude), but my MIL wanted to read a few after reading these to my oldest son. Just a heads up, since it's a chapter book, younger kids don't quite get the 'one more chapter... please!' doesn't work after you've read 5 chapters and they want to know what's going to happen.

My son LOVES these books

My son absolutely loves Captain Underpants. He has read all 12 of the books that are out right now plus the activity books and art books that go along with the series. I will continue to buy him the new books as they come out and we are going to see the movie together. He was six when he started reading them and is 7 now. He is a bit of an advanced reader for his age but these would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 3rd grade reading level.

My 8yo loves it! Good use for reading comprehension, use of adjectives, etc.

My 8yo boy love this and the rest of the series. He'll read it over and over and still laughs out loud for some parts. His reading level is higher than the book. I still get him these books because he loves them. Since he loves them so, I also like to have him write book reports with the "easy" books. I can read them as well, very quickly, and come up with questions he'd have to read the book to know. Oppose to general questions like, "Who is your favorite character? Why?" This way he can work on reading comprehension while he is still having a good time. We also do things like, list some adjectives that describe Harold, George, other characters or other situations in each chapter. He really enjoys it and he's learning at the same time.

Awesome Dad book

Started buying this series for my husband to read to our toddler on his nights to read! My husband was griping that he only had a few books that he would read to our son because of his own preference so we got a captain underpants and haven't looked back! My husband enjoys reading these to our 3 year old son and our son loves daddy's enthusiasm, voices and excitement reading them! Wonderful buy for any dad's looking for books they enjoy reading as well!

My 7 year-old guy was thrilled to receive! My only negative was that he finished it in one sitting and asked for another- which for anyone looking to find a series that their child will enjoy reading would be a positive thing!
