Product Description
Kylene and Bob have designed these bookmarks to be at-hand guides as students closely read nonfiction texts. One side contains the 3 Big Questions presented in Reading Nonfiction. These questions help students discern the author's intent and bias. The other side is the 5 Reading Nonfiction signposts that help readers answer the Big Questions by stopping and seeing how the author is presenting purported truths. With each signpost is helpful advice on when to STOP in a text and what questions readers can ask themselves when they spot a signpost.
