    I got this because of John Phillip Law (Pygar from Barbarella). I saw a video about "secrets you didn't know about Barbarella" and found this movie was made to fund it. It is a cute 60s spy movie. This is very much in the line of the "Our Man Flint" series and other similar movies. Definitely will watch it several more times.

Ever wonder what would happen if you took the 1960’s Batman and James Bond and mixed them together ....well now you don’t have to....Diabolik Would be that outcome. Plot lines seem to be borrowed from both along with the visual style. Great popcorn movie of a classic Italian comic book character.

    Based on a comic book. filmed around the same time as Barbarella, this movie about a thief and a lover in a psychadellic world of color and constant movement may not be for everyone..It tries to be James Bond on acid, and it is sorta....but it will fail to connect with everyone..John Phillip Law looks odd with a wierd haircut and he barely utters more than 50 lines in the whole movie but relys on his good looks and the action to take the viewer along on this ride..Its not a bad movie, but its not a good one either...

    It was suggested an old master was used rather than a new remastering
    Too bad if that’s true
    I still found Tim Lucas’s commentary more insightful than the new one though one has written a book on Bavaria and the other compiled the excellent DVD Delirium

    I was irked none of them cited the actress playing Valmont’s girl friend -n Italian Goldie Hawn but a good deL more sensual. Her name, Annie G...
