I was never a fan of Friday the 13th, or Jason, because that crazy hockey goalie with mommy issue scared the hell out of me around the age of six. However, reading the fan coffee table book, Crystal Lake Memories, gave me a better understanding of this movie and the sequels that followed. This movie, granted a rip-off of Halloween which really was a rip-off of Black Christmas, set the tone for horror during the '80s. Wild, brilliant with the effects and well worth a watch for any horror fan.

Not a steelbook
Preordered this months ago. 40th anniversary limited edition Blu-ray “steel book”. Good thing I only paid $14. Little something for my F13/Jason Voorhees collection. It’s basically a cheap tin case. Looks like they slapped a couple of stickers on it for the Anniversary release? The special features description on the back looks like they borrowed a few things from the Camp Crystal Lake memories dvd edition. Overall, I think it’s a cool collectors item to have. I won’t take it out of the plastic seal since I have NO IDEA where my Blu-ray DVD player is 😂

Excelente edición de 40 aniversario.
Película de culto súper recomendable, un clásico que vale la pena tener en steelbook. La película que viene incluida es la uncut edition y en cuanto al envío este llegó bien empacada y sin ninguno daño. Sin duda friday 13 es un de los más grandes éxitos del género slasher.
