About the Author

Kellee L. Greene is the author of numerous books, including the Red Sky series and the What Remains series. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two kids, and two cats.

Patricia Santomasso has always been an avid reader and storyteller. Her love of literature led her to earn a BA in English, and shortly afterward she moved from Connecticut to New York to study theater. She worked for years on stages around the country doing mostly classical plays and Shakespeare. It was there she met her husband, narrator Sean Patrick Hopkins, doing a production of As You Like It. Now she has merged her love of acting and the written word and happily reads stories out loud from the comfort of a booth. To date she has recorded over 150 audiobooks. Patricia's youthful voice and comic timing give heroines a warm relatability, and her surprising dips into baritone make her male characters engaging and believable. Paste Magazine has called her narration style warm-but-tart, which she agrees is a fitting description. Patricia and Sean have a sweet baby daughter, Lyra Roisin, who isn't much interested in hearing either one of them read to her.

    I felt I needed to rate the whole series instead of 1 book. Good series, not too mind bending, but lots of personal interaction. Good guys seem to scratch the back of their neck a lot. Needs a good proofreader.

New dangers are faced, new people bring on more challenges and decisions to be made, and she must decide if it’s worth entering in a romantic relationship. Will she make it in time to save Polly? Did they endure all those hardships for nothing? Do they finally reach a safe haven and be happy? Read to find out what happens to Kit’s group as they finally find the answers they are seeking! I did receive an ARC copy in return for an honest review. If you have not read the other books by Kellee Greene, then I highly recommend you to do so—-you will not be disappointed!

    I absolutely loved reading this series!!!! I read this book in a day, needless to say I didn’t get much work done. I’m so sad that it’s over but I’m so happy that Kellee shared this wonderful story with us. Definitely worth the money and time spent reading this book!!!!
