Product Description

Identity theft is a major issue facing today's society which impacts millions of Americans every year. Almost everyone has encountered identity theft in some shape or form during their lifetime. One of the newest and most convenient ways to protect your personal information is through RFID/NFC Blocking cards! Quctak RFID/NFC blocking cards operate through an innovative chipped blocking module to deflect 13.56 Mhz radio frequencies criminals can use to steal/skim your personal information! RFID/NFC credit cards, debit cards, passports, drivers licenses, bus cards and more can be read close range through scanning devices where your identity can be compromised. Quctak features an excellent blocking ability through the powerful chipped blocking module. This design differs from aluminum blocking layers seen in many RFID blocking cards, sleeves, wallets and purses! To use Quctak cards, simply place near your RFID/NFC enabled devices and you are good to go! This product provides skim protection up to a 3 cm radius of 13.56 Mhz RFID/NFC enabled products. Testing the shielding effect can be done at any business offering contactless payment. Simply place a Quctak card near your RFID/NFC credit/debit cards and attempt to complete a transaction. You will see the payment will not register! Quctak requires no batteries or charging. Quctak cannot protect against all credit/debit card theft situations but is one of the most effective forms of protection. Material: PVC and Copper Size: 85.5 x 54 x .9 mm 4 Cards Included

Same size as a credit card

Same size as a credit card
These four plastic cards are the same size as a credit card. You can't tell that they are special, but they are heavier than a credit card and are marked as "NFC/RFID Blocker" cards. I have no way to know if they are working, but they are easy to use. It was simple to slide into my wallet next to my credit card. I wish I could test how well they are blocking.

Having previously paid 30 for one of these rfid card at a well known department store, I could not believe the price which gave me 12 at a fraction of the price of one! So far they have worked, well I havnt had my card cloned so far. It’s difficult to say if it’s working or not as you really don’t know. But I do feel a little safer now that’s for sure.

These RFID blocking cards were offered to me in my Amazon Vine selection. They supposedly help protect your credit cards & other RFID-enabled cards from data thieves. When I first saw these, I thought they were a good idea (other than they take up additional space in one’s wallet, when most people already have too many cards to carry). However, after ordering, I did some internet reading (on several different websites) about RFID-blocking merchandise. (My bad, as I should have done my research first, then I would not have ordered them.) My conclusion is RFID protection is NOT necessary, despite many of today’s products touting, “RFID blocking.” Some of the information I obtained is as follows: First, there is very little evidence that RFID skimming is a serious threat to consumers. Only a small percentage of credit cards in the United States use RFID technology. In the unlikely event someone skims your card, they will not get enough information to make any purchases. In addition, your credit card company will not hold you responsible for the bill. Based on what I read, I have concluded that while credit card fraud is a real threat, RFID blocking products like these card shields are not going to help. Save your money.

I’m not a fan of placing a card behind my cards for RFID blocking. I prefer a sleeve to place my cards in for protection. It makes my wallet bulky and it’s not cute at all .

I had all four credit-card-sized RFDI blocking cards in my back pocket when I went into the library at school and the book alarm went off. Thank goodness I finally found what had set of the alarm and it was the 4 cards. I tried various combinations. Just one card did not set it off and two cards didn;t either but 3 or 4 of them in my back packet set off the book alarm, which is similar to the alarm at the Post Office and at our local grocery store. I will carry one in my wallet and at least, if the alarm goes off, it should be when I am arriving at those places, and I will know right away what to say.

After hearing recent stories about people traveling and getting their card info stolen just by being in proximity of a thief, I became more interested in these protection devices. I've never been crazy about the paper envelopes, so I liked the idea of just another card in my wallet.

I don't like that there were no instructions. It wasn't obvious to me whether I needed 2 cards in my wallet, one on each side of my credit cards. Since you get 4 cards, this also made me think that I might need 1 on each side. But, it looks like, according to the listing display image that you only need 1 card and it will protect within a certain radius surrounding the card. They are so thin, that I will probably just add 2 to my wallet anyway. I also don't know who long they last. Like do they eventually go bad?

I don't have a testing device, so can't promise that they actually work, but I think it's worth adding since it's so thin.

If your wallet or purse does not already have RFID protection then you NEED to get a pack of these RFID blocking cards. My wallet has RFID protection built into it and I still put one of these cards in it. Credit card numbers are easy to scan and steal by thieves and this card will block the scan attempt and keep your card numbers safe. They're the same size as a credit card so there's no reason you can't slide one into your wallet. These are decorative too which makes them more appealing to buy. I have some other credit card blockers and they are really boring looking but I don't care as long as they keep my credit card numbers safe. BUY THESE NOW IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE RFID PROTECTION!!!

Like others have mentioned, I thankfully haven't had a crisis that caused me to see if these blockers actually work; however, based on the great review of others and the quality of the cards, I am impressed.

The cards remind me of a hotel key card in thickness and design. They are the same size as a credit card, so they fit securely in my wallet. The print on the card is super fun - not what I would expect from a RFID blocker. I like this because it makes me seem super stylish. It's marbleized, with different colors of that pattern all over.

I keep it at the front of my wallet, in front of all my credit cards. So far, it has held up well and served me well. I feel so much safer carrying it with me, knowing it will be much harder for my credit card to get scammed. I would highly recommend everyone invest in something like this, and for the price, it is very manageable.

It is doubtful that RFID blockers serve any purpose. I knew that when I ordered these. However, a scam was recently found at a gas station pump in my town, so I felt I should get these. My biggest misgiving, though, is that they are not sleeves. I prefer sleeves for their additional function, separating the credit cards from business cards.

While the jury may be out in terms of their value in protecting my identity, I have decided that, because they aren’t sleeves, they provide no tangible benefit for me.

Three stars out of five.
