I wouldn't insult or low-rate ANY recording offered on CD as a tribute to the greatest of blues singers who ever lived. But Dinah Washington gratefully escaped the world of jazz, where that magical voice was always silenced to make room for the band to interrupt. And she made four CLASSIC albums before her early death, and it seems strange that a CD supposedly bringing you EIGHT CLASSIC ALBUMS only contains TWO of the FOUR she made. "What a Difference a Day Makes" and "September In The Rain" are just an incomplete compilation without the equally classic "Unforgettable" and "Dinah Discovered," which wasn't released until after her death, and contains her immortal re-recordings of "Mad About the Boy" and "Without a Song" and "With a Song in my Heart." In all honesty, if you can still get Volume 6 and Volume 7 of "The Complete Dinah Washington on Mercury" you will have ALL of The Queen's classic recordings from ALL of The Queen's classic albums!
