    I have yet to read a book that Kristi has written that I have not thoroughly enjoyed! Her writing abilities catch your interest early and keep you interested through the entire book. While One Eyed Jack can be read alone, I would suggest you read Queen of Spades first if you haven't read it, as it gives insight into how and why Eva does what she does. It was encouraging to see that while Eva is still haunted by her past, she is starting to find some light in her life.
    Can't wait for The Suicide King being released the end of October! Keep on writing Kristi!

    This installment was much better than the first book. I believe it's shorter as well but the author did a great job in making it interesting while still trying to ensure not too much information is cut out.

    So far each book has sad moments in them. If you're an emotional person, you might need at least one tissue.

    I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

    I try to read all the Gia Santella books. They are action packed and hard to put down. They all appear to have the same level of action and suspense. I am always trying to figure out who done it but the author keeps me guessing.

    I really enjoyed reading this book as well as all the others in the Gia Santella series. The Queen of Spades series is also top notch reading.

Both books had me enthralled with the storyline and the intriguing characters and I'll be going back for the next book after writing this review.
