Great value. Recommended. 10 things to note.
I have several grow lights in my basement that I use to overwinter plants and fig cuttings, So I thought a little comparison here would help most buyers make a good choice. 1. I might be wrong here, but my observation after buying several LED grow lights on Amazon is that when you see them speaking about 100W or 150W, they are usually speaking about "Equivalent wattage" compared to a non-LED grow light. LED lights are very energy efficient, so something like this 150W (equivalent?) LED grow light would probably use around 30W to 40W of electricity. I usually recommend LED bulbs because over the course of a few years, the electricity cost usually outweighs the higher cost of the LEB bulbs. I usually run my LED lights for 12 to 16 hours a day in my basement, so over time, this makes a difference in electricity consumption. 2. For a proper LED growlight that is good for growing plants, I would recommend looking at either a 600W or 1000W light. Personally, I find a 150W to be underpowered. However, if you are looking to use this for only small seedlings or small plants, this 150W might be sufficient. I use this together with several other LEDs growlights and this works as an extra boost. 3. Plants prefer to use a red and blue spectrum for growing. So if you really want to be energy efficient, this is good to invest in such an LED system rather than a full spectrum "whitish" light. However, the purple light from blue and red systems are a real eyesore. Just a minute under the purple lights and everything you see will be off-colored for another minute or two once you leave the room. For this reason, many people rather just go for a white full spectrum light. I have several different light systems, so my recommendation is to avoid the purple one unless you have a isolated closed corner in a basement somewhere. Otherwise, go for something like this 150W LED light that gives off a whitish color. Do note that this light bulb has both red and blue LED bulbs for better growth, but because it has many warm light (whitish) LED bulbs, the overall color is white to the eye. Yet it produces a good spectrum for plant growth. 4. This bulb is priced well compared to similar output LED systems on amazon. Highly recommended for this reason. 5. The three 'wings' or whatever you call it on this LED model is helpful if you want to focus the light around a smaller area. That said, if it had the ability to swing outwards and not only inwards, that would be better. But I still like this feature of being able to adjust the angle of lights.6. While some other uses here show the light hanging from the ceiling, this is unlikely to provide sufficient light for your plants. I would recommend hanging this light about two feet above your plants for it to be strong enough. Distance from plants is very important when using growlight and what seems like a small difference in distance from light to plants will make a lot of difference in the light intensity the plant receives. 7. This product is described as having a lifespan of 50,000 hours. Assuming 16 hours a day of usage (which is more than most people use), this will last 8 to 9 years. There is no way I can test if this is true, and from experience, most LED bulbs that claim to have 50,000 hours of light spoils just after several years. Even then, it is still a good purchase for the price point, and if it does last 50,000 years, it will be a real bonus in terms of savings from electricity compared to using a T5 or other type of growlight. 8. Built wise, this is certainly more sturdy than the small square LED growlights that are also very popular on Amazon.9. Note that if you are going to hang this one or two feet around the plant, you will need the appropriate extension cord and socket. that allows you to attach a E26/E27 bulb. You may also want to purchase a switch timer to go with this so that you can have the lights come on and off at the needed time.10. Overall, I am very pleased with this bulb. It is not the brightest bulb out there (but it is certainly not weak), but for the price point, this is an excellent purchase and very suitable for small plants. I would certainly recommend it.

One corner in my room is very dull as no natural sunlight or the room light reaches there. So got the grow lights and placed some plants in that corner. It's been more than 2 weeks and plant is really doing very well. There are new leaves growth and my ziva plants started flowering too. I'm planning to buy more of these for dark corner spaces in the room. It gives a very natural look and brightens up the room too. Similar, bulb shaped once are 3 times the price.

Very bright, great value. Just bought a second one.

PCB was etched with "LEDTOPPLUS" so I went on their site to see if there were any additional specs and the image posted is from their site.
Interesting note from their documentation about this light being 3.1umol/J.

Plants seem to like the light, timelapse shows peppers reaching for the light.

Video flicker from auto-exposure of raspberry pi camera during timelapse.
      The light does NOT flicker!

Reliability untested, hoping for the best, otherwise a great deal on a bright grow light which draws ~30W.

Note: Ambient daylight is not direct daylight. Ambient daylight is light that comes in through your window without direct sun beams. This can be seen in the timelapse video. The light is turned on a couple hours after sunrise and is about 18 inches above the rim of the tallest container.

Even then, it is still a good purchase for the price point, and if it does last 50,000 years, it will be a real bonus in terms of savings from electricity compared to using a T5 or other type of growlight.

      8. Built wise, this is certainly more sturdy than the small square LED growlights that are also very popular on Amazon.

      9. Note that if you are going to hang this one or two feet around the plant, you will need the appropriate extension cord and socket. that allows you to attach a E26/E27 bulb. You may also want to purchase a switch timer to go with this so that you can have the lights come on and off at the needed time.

      10. Overall, I am very pleased with this bulb. It is not the brightest bulb out there (but it is certainly not weak), but for the price point, this is an excellent purchase and very suitable for small plants. I would certainly recommend it.

I've bought several of these lights and they've always worked great. I did have to contact their customer service about a small issue. Not only were they quick to respond but they promptly sent me a new light just because they wanted me to be fully satisfied. I definitely believe these lights are worth the investment and you can't beat a company with that kind of customer service. They really care and I'm very pleased. Happy growing season to all.

I initially bought this for my succulents because the only place I had to keep them they definitely were not getting the sun they needed. After a couple of weeks under this light, boy o boy have they grown! I can tell they're happy, healthy, & enjoying their "sunshine". Not only are they enjoying this light but my 4 cats race one another to get to the table so they can lie under it and enjoy the warmth. Thank you for carrying such a great product.
      P.S.
I bought the 2 pack a couple of weeks later and I plan on buying at least 4 more (2 double packs) very soon.

I converted an old water tank into a grow tank. I installed 3 of these as an addition to a 50w ufo light. They are extremely bright and my plants are thriving like crazy. All 3 arrived in excellent condition and work perfectly!

Update: It's been a couple of years and they are still going strong. The only complaint I have is that the folding part is a bit weak at the hinge and they don't always stay in place where you want them.
