The World: A Love in O'Leary Novella (Love in O'Leary Novellas Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 983 ratings

What do the hot, genius entrepreneur and I have in common? Absolutely nothing.

Taika Parata may be rich as hell, but he’s a total jerk. He spends his days traveling the globe in the lap of luxury, while I dreamed of leaving my tiny hometown for a nomadic life and never got further than Boston.

But when fate throws us together, our preconceptions are challenged and suddenly we both have an entirely new perception of the world… and each other.

NOTE: This is a 12K SHORT STORY that was first available as part of Volume 2 of the Heart2Heart charity anthology. No content has been changed or added. It has ties to the O'Leary universe, but can easily be read as a standalone.

"The World" is a palate-cleansing little book, with passing references to O'Leary, before moving on to the next two full-length novels, and then the final two novellas.
A little gem of love at first sight.

I just loved Taika and Ethan. They were both awkwardly perfect. This novella is a sweet opposites attract charity date trip romance. Taika is a rich entrepreneur whose life is traveling the world going from meeting to meeting. Ethan is a poor freelance writer who dreams of traveling the world and writing a travel blog. They meet at a charity event when they bump into each other’s arms. Their first meeting is not friendly but when they win a couple’s prize of a trip to Disney, the journey to their HEA begins. This book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, strong friendships, sexy times, laughs, real life issues, imperfect characters, funny text exchanges, and so much love. While short, the story was well written, the characters were well developed, and the storyline was engaging. I love this series.

This is one of those stories that I feel would have been a good novella, at least. But, the author still managed to make the characters interesting and the HEA satisfying

The story was very short but still a cute little love story. Through the chances of fate Taika and Ethan’s love story was created.

What happens when two people literally bump into each other at a charity function? Well if one is a tycoon and the other is making his way in the world one written article at a time then you have the start of this charming story.

Well written story and well developed characters! These people from O'Leary are wonderful! This book is about Ethan. He was the roommate in Boston. Now struggling to keep his apartment! He has received a writing commission that gets him into a Heart2Heart Charity event for free! Now he's trying to put his raffle tickets to good use, even though he doesn't think he will win!

This was originally part of a charity box set and although it’s not actually set in the fictional town of O’Leary one of the characters was from there so I guess it counts

The story has No real connection to O'Leary, and the story lacks the depth of the rest of this universe. Yes, even the other novellas. This one didn't catch me...
