Good Protective Case but lacks Auto Sleep/Wake feature
I have researched & bought a few cases for my iPad Pro 11 and I have yet to find my ideal case .. though my very first one which features a keyboard comes close since it's very slim and comparable with Apple's own keyboard case at quarter of price. That said, I was looking for a light case w/o keyboard but one which protects the Apple Pen (the other two didn't) and not to mention that it has to be sturdy, thin and have the auto sleep/wake feature. So while this one is sturdy and somewhat easy to hold, it doesn't have that final feature (auto wake & sleep). The other issue with this case is probably durability .. which I'm guessing would be less than average and that's mostly because of the cutout areas ... where this a cutout, the plastic is very weak and it can easily twist and tear up (it's that flimsy). On the other hand, the case is sturdy and doesn't look cheap & holds Apple Pencil perfectly when charging and best of all, won't have to worry about losing it .. so when you read the features, take it with a grain of salt .. so here's my take on their promised features: >> Compatibility with iPad Pro 11 - check - it fits perfectly 5/5 >> Shockproof Protection - seems very sturdy and has edges that seem to protect 2-3 ft. drops. 4/5 >> Apple Pencil Charging - works .. just have to make sure you put it right in its proper place. 4/5 >> Ultra Slim & Lightweight - this is a double edge sword .. if too light or slim, it won't protect well .. so rate it 4/5 >> Precise Cutouts - check - no issues here 5/5 >> Auto Wake/Sleep - Not true .. doesn't work .. even when removing the pen 0/5 >> Viewing & Typing Stand Mode - Works as advertised .. 5/5 >> Premium Material - If PU leather is another word for plastic then yes .. but it doesn't look like leather at all 3/5 >> Heat Dissipation - This is just a gimmick - when you put anything in the back of a tablet, it'll get warm 2/5 In my case the auto sleep/wake option is a big deal so I'm rating it 3.5 star but if that's not an issue, then it deserves a 4 star given it's reasonable price and value.
