Without a comparison point or an objective testing mechanism, I couldn't say whether these are as strong as expected. They seemed fine. They are not actually 3mm thick, but 2.75mm which is a bit annoying (shorted by almost 10%). Several of mine had chunks missing and one of them had reversed polarity, which both suggest to me poor QA. I actually wish I could've gotten half and half on the polarity so I could screw them onto opposing surfaces. I ended up having to glue half of them. The screws that came with them unsurprisingly kind of sucked. That said, they worked for what I was trying to achieve.
