My lovely bride says she enjoys working with me on home remodeling projects. I suspect these projects move along faster when she is working alone and I'm not there over-analyzing and overthinking everything.
One day in the not too distant past, I arrive home from work and a new picture has been hung on the wall of the living room. In addition, the old ratty window blinds have been removed and new wooden blinds have been installed. I look out the bathroom window where the backyard deck is located. Three pressure treated deck boards have been replaced, where the kids had fallen through the deck earlier this month and had sprained an ankle each. Approaching the kitchen I can smell dinner is nearly ready. Homemade pasta sauce with Italian sausage is simmering on stove. Fresh homemade bread is in the oven and broccoli is steaming on the the cook top.
As I finally walk into the kitchen, something is different. Must be the custom cabinet cover for the dishwasher which has been off for nearly three weeks. It is back on the dishwasher.
