I wish each day was an egg (and that I could find a calendar with 25 of them), but the Hatchimals in this set are very cute and holiday-themed. A few of the days require you to just pop the Hatchimal out of the carton and not hatch an egg. My daughter has really enjoyed it.

Take out picture panel before gifting
Not really "full of surprises" when the inside of the cover shows all of the figures :( Last year we got the actual advent calendar and there was nothing like that in it. If I had known that, I would have opened the package and taken that panel out before giving it to my daughter.
