Super fun game!! Great graphics, mini games, and HO games. They were generally challenging at first and I used the hint button to navigate through the game the first time through. The mini games and Hidden games were challenging, interesting, and and I was able to play them without hints or skipping. I liked the story line and the characters had more personality and more realistic looks and motions than other games I've played. This game has two types of collectibles to watch for. One is not too hard to find, but the morphing ones were challenging. I went into the collectibles section of the menu to see what their basic shape was so I had an idea of what to look for. I liked that each scene had icons letting players know whether there were collectibles there and which type to look for. Both the main game and the bonus game were reasonably long. The first time through I relied on the hint button so there was a lot of moving back and forth which was annoying at times, but the second time around I used the map to take me from place to place. It's definitely one I'm playing againl. I do recommend this game, especially if you've played the previous games of this series. The series was worth the purchase price to me.
I was playing along, loving the game and I got to a section where I can't figure out whY to do. I tried hrlp, but it takes me to the map! I have tried talking everything g, and nothing reveals anything new. I am going to go find a walkthrough but I doubt it will help as I literally have tapped everything in the 3locations that are open. Bah!!!!
The game is OK, not stellar, and not worth $7! No strategy guide, which is kinda basic, folks. The story is almost as absent as the strategy guide! It's like they ran out of ideas, but had to have something (anything) to make a game-the 7th in this series, and not my favorite one, for sure. Pretty unimpressed. There were occasional tap response issues as well, which definitely caused me to waste time trying to place items shouldn't take multiple tries. Thank goodness for the map, which helps to figure the next move. There's a bonus game. The puzzles and HOG'S were pretty good, nothing terribly difficult. The graphics are definitely hand drawn, some more skillfully done than others. Not many cut scenes or voiceovers but what is there is ok.
I purchased this game before trying it because I was going out of town and needed to unlock the game while I had wifi. Wow- that was a mistake! The story line was pretty much "Thing happened. Go get things." Nothing in the whole game was unique or interesting. There was no development of a story, just the same-ol "get magic things to stop evil woman." (When did that become the go-to story for Hidden Object games?) The gameplay was redundant "get this to pick up that. Then use it to pick up that. Then get three to unlock that to get a thing to get another thing." Nothing was noteworthy, nothing tricky, I just felt like I was grinding through the game to get to something interesting. But there wasn't anything interesting.
I played in Casual mode and it was truly a delight. The mini games are fun and not frustratingly complex or tricky. The graphics are beautiful art. The main game is actually a decent length, and the other characters are there only at critical plot points (they need your help before giving you a useful object), so game play isn't bogged down by incidental dialogue. The bonus chapter has a simpler design, but figuring out what do next is the real challenge. Using the Map is critical for determining where your tasks are, and of course makes movement much faster.
This one was my favorite, but I say that about this series probably every time!! Beautiful graphics without saying....wonderful here on my Fire HD 10, latest one. No glitches, super sensitive or any problems at all. I don't understand why so many gamers of these type adventure games, get so FREAKED OUT about paying seven bucks for a great, very long game, even the bonus game seemed longer than most! Shopped for a xbox, playstation, even computer games lately??? Realize I am sort of comparing apples and oranges, kindle isn't a big game system, but still. Last game I bought for grandkids was over twenty-five bucks! The flow and storyline was impressively done. Great job! Recommend highly!!!!
