Works fine for me. Will buy for all my heels.
I don’t wear these for pain relief. I’m a heavy girl and I slide in my heeled sandals. I use these to stop me from sliding. It’s not cute when your toes try to escape your heels lol. These work great for that. The first picture shows a store bought insert next to these. The store bought looks prettier but is small, flat, and misleading. The comfort grip circles on the center is only on the sticky side lol so that’s not useful. But this Amazon brand is larger and has a raised middle to support the ball of foot.*Tips*1.Place the bigger side of the insert toward the toe and the narrow side of the insert toward the heel.2. If you’re wearing them to stop you from sliding in heels place it half to one inch away from tip of toe box.3. The adhesive works best when you put them on clean/dry soles and don’t remove them. It’s just like a bandaid and will lose its adhesion when you remove them. So Don't use the same inserts in all your shoes. Just buy new inserts for every pair of shoes.

These are a life saver if you have any trouble with pain on the ball of your feet. Stick great.

I’ve been buying these foot cushions every time I buy new heels. I’ve tried other brands and different types of foot pads (i. e. the prickly surface foot pads) but they always end up being uncomfortable and burn my feet after walking on them on short distances, I live in Vegas and as you know, there is walking involved between parking lots to casino entrances to venues and restaurants. In my experience, I recommend this metatarsal foot pad brand for relatively good distances, comfort and standing time, material (doesn’t burn or blister my feet, adhesive easily removes and re-sticks when positioning in shoe), and looks (does not show as long as it’s positioned under the foot correctly). If I should add, I suffer from muscle foot cramps and these metatarsal pads do wonders on my soles.

These aren't working well for me. The gel-part is only in the center of the pad, so that if you don't place it perfectly in your shoes, they aren't comfortable. It's ok for one pair of shoes, but I can't get them to work right in the others. I have repositioned the pads several times, and they just don't work as well as other pads I've used.

I'm short so I began wearing heels and wedges when I was in my late teens. A few years ago I started getting a tremendous amount of excruciating pain in the balls of my feet and thought I may have developed gout. That's when someone suggested I try a shoe insert. I did and voila' it worked. I found Dr. Scholl's inserts but they wore out so fast I knew I had to find a better quality product, and that's what lead me to Amazon and these delightful insert. I like how soft they are, and how they're clear so I can wear them in my open toe shoes without fear that someone will notice them sticking out. I have a pair that I've kept the backing on so I can slip them in an out of shoes that I don't wear as often, and permanently installed them in others. I'm wearing some in my shoes right now and I can't even describe the difference it makes. They've re-energized my love of shoes! I love, love, love them!

I have not actually used this product yet. I just received the pads today. There is a problem. The package came with three pairs, but one of the pairs had two lefts. The other two pairs was correct. I gave it 3 stars prior to using the product based on this flaw in preparation of packaging. I will revise my review on the correct pairs after I have used it a day at work.

**update! I worked yesterday for 11 hours wearing a pair of booties with a 2 inch heel. I could barely make it out of the house before the pain started hitting my balls of my feet. I bought these pads in hopes that they would make these booties usable for me. I struggled through the day until my lunch break and switched to tennis shoes. These pads may be great for medium or more padding in shoes with no incline, but was not enough for my heeled booties. I am disappointed.

I've had severe ball of foot pain that I couldn't find a solution for. These cushions finally solved my pain problem! TIP: I wear these with my sport shoes UNDER the insole. At first I had applied them directly below the ball of my foot, and it didn't ease the pain. I read an article that said the cushion should be applied just below the ball of the foot, between the ball of foot and the arch of the foot, on the underside of the insole. PRESTO! That made a huge difference and solved all of my pain. I recommend these cushions for metatarsal pain.

The gel pads are easy to apply and very comfortable. They are also very sticky and stay put. I wash mine at the end of each day. When wet the pads lose their stickiness but once dry it returns. This is the only product that actually helps prevent my callus returning. All others, eg silicon sleeves and padded plasters, were of no use as they moved almost immediately. If you also find this an issue, try these (and they work with flat shoes too).

Adhesive on both pairs didn't last at all which lead to the cushions shifting and just becoming awkward. Removed these from my shoes after a few hours at a function, after battling with them moving about,i had brought the second set just incase as spares after reading some of the reviews and when the first pair moved i changed them with the second pair. Same result. Adhesive didnt last. Can't say when they were in place they made a massive difference. They weren't what I expected. They felt alot less soft that I thought. Will try a different brand next time.
