Refuting Rabbinic Objections to Christianity & Messianic Prophecies (Jewish Perspective) Kindle Edition
In this eye-opening book, Dr. Eitan Bar tackles the top Jewish objections to Jesus—the very arguments that rabbis use to dismiss Christianity. Drawing from Eitan's 100+ viral Hebrew videos (with 20+ million views in Israel alone!), this book, a translation of many of these videos, breaks down the Rabbinic case against Jesus and systematically dismantles it—all in a clear, engaging, and easy-to-read style.
This is not an academic textbook. This is a straightforward, powerful, and compelling response to the biggest Jewish arguments against Christianity—designed for everyone, whether you're Jewish, Christian, or simply curious.
While Eitan's other book, Why Don’t Jews Believe in Jesus, unpacks the reasons why Jews won’t even consider Jesus, this book addresses the specific objections raised by rabbis and provides responses to them.
For too long, the truth about Jesus has been suppressed and silenced in Israel. But now, the secret is out! Whether you’re Jewish and searching for answers or a Christian who wants to understand Jewish objections and better share the gospel with Jews, this book will equip you with the truth in a way that is engaging, accessible, and impossible to ignore!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2022This book is a must read and a must have for any Christian. Eitan Bar is a blessing to all of us, orthodox Christians, protestants, Catholics, and especially the Jewish people who are looking for the truth. He really does refute all the rabbinic claims and backs everything up with verses from the Old Testament and historical documents. Read it for yourself, this book is a gem, and Eitan is gold. I love you brother, from a russian orthodox. God bless you in Jesus name ❤️🥰😍☦️🇷🇺🤝
P. S. ( Eitan, there's one thing I have to mention and can't ignore. In chapter 25, you talked about about Christians doing evil to the Jewish people with inquisiton, crusades and pogroms, and said that most of that was from eastern European Christians. Im not gonna comment on the inquisiton or pogroms, but for the crusades, I think it was absolutely necessary to save the Christians from the Muslims at the time. You wrote:
" It cannot be denied that a lot of Jewish blood has been shed in the name of Jesus by violent and evil Christians you used his name as an excuse for their wickedness. But it wasn't the New Testament that brought all these shameful acts on the Jewish people. TRUTH BE TOLD, JESUS HIMSELF MADE PREDICTIONS ABOUT BAD PEOPLE LIKE THIS IN THE PRESENCE OF HIS JEWISH DISCIPLES: THEY WILL DELIVER YOU UP TO TRIBULATION AND PUT YOU TO DEATH, AND YOU WILL BE HATED BY ALL NATIONS FOR MY NAME'S SAKE" MATHEW 24:9
"Truth be told", that's not the truth at all. Jesus is talking to His disciples when he says 'they will deliver YOU up to tribulation and put you to death'. "You" are the disciples and "they" are the people that killed His disciples, them being both pagans AND Jews of that time. "They" are not the crusaders, because the crusaders we're saving Christians from Muslim opression. Yes, crusaders killed Muslims, but Muslims also killed us, killed crusaders, so it was necessary to save the Christiqn people. " You will be hated for my name's sake" is not because the crusaders did evil, it's because pagans and Jews who didn't accept Jesus hate him because they hate the truth, they didn't want this new 'heretical' religion to take over their established customs, hence "hated for My name's sake". You talk about that Jesus taught love and that's all correct and true, but you can't be lovey dovey on the government level when your people are being killed, you have to retaliate and sometimes kill in order to save your people, your family. When our Lord Jesus returns the second time, He isn't going to be lovely dovey like many picture Him; He is the Son of God, the Messiah, who will kill the evil kings of world, Jesus is the one who will kill the antichrist. We need to remember that. He will be scary in His glory, coming on the clouds of heaven. So yeah brother, it was very disappointing to read that, that you didn't do the research on the crusades. The same people that are against all evil and for all good and kindness are the same people who are screaming "slava ukraini" right now, but who didn't notice 14,000 dead Russians in Donetsk and lughansk in the span of 8 years from 2014. The same people who are all lovey dovey, but who didn't care that Donbass was bombed and people killed, all because they wanted to be autonomous from Ukraine and a part of Russia. Everyone wants to be righteous and curse Russia, but not many look into it and see that if Ukraine became a part of NATO, Moscow could be hit by NATO rockets in the span of 4 minutes. Same thing they tried to do in Chechnya when financing terrorists, same thing they did in Libya, Syria, Vietnam, etc.
I'm not gonna change the rating, it stays 5 stars, whoever is preaching my Lord Jesus is my brother regardless of what he thinks of me, but do some reading on the crusades brother, watch some David Wood

- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2024Dr Bar is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors of things theological. He is an Israeli with formal seminary training and a PhD dissertation refuting Oral Law which seems to be the man made version of the written law, ie Torah. He's had his life threatened, home and car vandalized, and fortunately for us all he has the courage to put out videos and especially write books such as this gem.
If you werent aware that some Orthodox Jews in Israel have held New Testament book burnings, you will know now. It seems the man-made Talmudic/Midrashic rabbinic tradition has intermixed with Torah, and even supplanted it. This book is packed with information throughout, and Eitan shows his usual clear and intelligent writing style and wit. The objections cited by some of the rabbis attempting to refute Christianity are shown to be quite weak. You will learn alot about Old Testament practices and their significance. The way rabbis forbid Isaiah 53 is discussed, as well as the consideration of Daniel as hands off, for obvious reasons to keep the truth hidden. The alteration of Psalm 22 and Hosea by Masoretes was a great touch, as you can see the difference between the Dead Sea scrolls, which predated the Masoretic text by over a thousand years, and the 1000 AD version.
I could write for hours about this book, as an educational and eye opening work it is worth its weight in gold. Many of us know the Talmud has some uncharitable things some of the rabbis have to say about Gentiles, but the outright hostility of rabbinic Judaism towards Christ and the fervent attempts to keep Israelis from learning about him is truly a sad thing. Eitan says rightly that this doesn't differ from many organized religions which men institute to lift themselves up and keep their students/subjects in a state of fear. Eitan is a true man of God, and Ive read so far most of his books and can only hope he keeps writing and uncovering the truth, regardless of how unsupportive and hostile the environment may be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very excellent book on Jesus the Messiah.
Dr. Eitan Bar is well referred the OT scripture passages to substantiate that Jesus ( Yeshua) is the Messiah. I have purchased 3 of his books, all are very useful for my understanding on Jewish Messianic expectation and their twisting the OT. And his books are very easy to understand.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE MOST IMPORTANT BOOK I HAVE READ
(other than the Bible)
When I saw this book was available from OneforIsrael.org I had to get it.
I have seen many of their YouTube videos and they are excellent and I always learned something from each one, so I knew the material would be good.
But it totally blew me away!
I learned so much, but the chapter on Micah 7/Matthew 10 left me feeling like Charlie Brown in the Peanuts cartoon, when he gets spun up in the air from the force of a baseball hit for a home run ... I finally feel like I have come back down to earth -- wow!
This is book is talking about the unfolding of God's prophecy in Israel _right_ _now_ , if you can see what is going on, it tremendously exciting...
Thanks and God bless you all!
David
PS: if you read this book with your Bible handy, and you will get even more out of it
My response to the author of this book:
Isaiah 30:20-22 (Septuagint):
And though the Lord shall give you the bread of affliction and scant water, yet they that cause thee to err shall no more at all draw nigh to thee; for thine eyes shall see those who cause thee to error,
and thine ears shall hear the words of them that went after thee to lead thee astray, who say: "This is the way, let us walk in it, either to the right or to the left."
And thou shalt pollute the plated idols, and thou shall grind to powder the gilt ones, and shall scatter them as the water of a removed woman, and thou shalt thrust them forth as dung.
God bless you, Mr. Bar, and all your house!
Not only are you sharp, but you operate in true spiritual knowledge so that I know God's love and work is all over you and those with you!
It was an INCREDIBLE honour to be able to read this book and learn about the things that you and those in your amazing ministry have learned and discovered!
May you stay humble and may God continue to fill you and bless you, forever.
And may God bless the sons and daughters of Israel, rebuking their errors, and saving them to eternal life!
