Product Description

At 40, Olivia is a career-driven lawyer in a stable relationship with her younger girlfriend, Alex. Happy at home and at work, Olivia has no interest in children - until the day she finds herself sobbing uncontrollably over a friend's pregnancy. Alex, confused by Olivia s sudden change of heart, and sticking by her own anti-maternal principles, strikes back recklessly, with an all too willing neighbour, John. Struggling to deal with the life-changing consequences of their actions, the once like-minded couple face a difficult decision: can they let go of the future they had imagined together, in order to survive? A heart-stirring comedy starring David Tennant (Doctor Who, Broadchurch), Lucy Punch (Into the Woods, New Girl), Faye Marsay (Game of Thrones, Darkest Hour), Simon Bird (The Inbetweeners 1 & 2) and Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones Diary, Smack the Pony), You, Me and Him is a bold, warm and deeply funny exploration of love and pregnancy in the 21st century.

Overall I love the movie, but the disc itself is not made for American dvd players or game systems. The disc however can be played on computers with a video player.
I like the movie but I wish it could be played on a DVD player.

2.0 out of 5 stars Can't recommend despite the fabulous David Tennant

As a MAJOR David Tennant fan, I'm bummed out to say that this was a major fail. DT's acting was fabulous, as always. It was the writing, the plot and how his character and other characters were presented. DT's character, costumes and hair were 1980s NYC gay fashion vibe, village people scene vs. divorced, newly single, horny, heterosexual quirky guy next door. There was one redeemable plot twist toward the end but not good enough to make the movie worth viewing or purchasing.

I bought this DVD after we were luck enough to go to the premiere of this movie in Birmingham, where we got to have our photo taken with David Tennant before watching the movie in the cinema. The story line is very relevant today and the acting is first class. It is funny and very touching about the pros and cons of pregnancy and giving birth, with the twist of the lesbian couple and their 'accommodating' neighbour played by the lovely David Tennant. This movie appeals to all ages and genres, my seventeen year old son was not keen on seeing it but absolutely loved it!!
