I'm a long time Anker fan. Bought one of their multi smart USB portable chargers years ago that I still frequently use (still works like the day I bought it) and through it I fell in love with their products. If Anker has a motto is definitely high quality at an affordable price which is why I buy all my cords, wall chargers, and portable chargers from them.

My most recent purchase was this cord so I could use it with the 60W Anker USB-C wall charger and quick charge my iPhone X. It worked great the first few weeks but a few times I noticed my phone hadn't charged after I plugged it in and walked away. I realized that the cord I purchased was faulty and you had to keep it bent at certain angles for it to work. I immediately looked up Anker's cord warranty (which is amazing as long as you don't leave the country with the cord) and submitted a request. Submitting a request was very easy and less than 24 hours later I had a replacement cord on its way.

I debated giving this product a 4 star rating but this is the first time I've had any sort of negative experience with an Anker product and these things happen with electronics plus I was so blown away by their warranty system that it makes up for it. I'd rather buy from a company that owns up to its manufacturing mistakes in a quick and easy fashion than one that prides itself so much on having perfect products that you have to convince them to help you *cough* Apple *cough* when you do get a faulty product from them. I now have a new cord that works perfectly and I'm sure it'll outlast the lightning ports existence in the Apple line up.

Originally the wire stopped working (original review below). But I had amazing customer service and was sent a new product. I'm changing it from one start to 4 starts. If the new one is still working in a month i'll update to 5 stars as the wire is amazing, my issue was the durability.

The wire was working great, 6 months after purchase it stopped working completely. This wasn't even my daily use wire but the one I left at work in case of emergency. I e used it maybe 30 times in 6 months and it wasn't ever even wrapped up. It just remained on my desk.

It’s long enough for what it’s used for. Certainly longer than the OEM Apple that comes with the newer iPhones. It’s held up so far in the few days since owning it. It’s textured body feels better than the OEM Apple one that does start to warp depending on the climate you’re in and less likely to fray. My only complaint is I wished there was a 10ft option, but beggars can’t be choosers and 6ft’s good enough.

As said, this does support fast charging, if anyone’s curious, you just need the base that actually does the fast charging and go from there. Keep in mind, iPhones post 2018 support fast charging and older ones won’t and charge as normal. IPads that still use lighting cable won’t fast charge either, that’s inherently the USB-C Pros. Just thought I get this out of the way in case someone asks.
