Great set, perfect for the holidays
I bought two of the Legacy box sets, one for my dad and one for myself. We are both big fans and even though I own the albums, I knew we needed it for my collection. I received both and opened mine. The set is really nicely packaged and makes a good piece for my desk. Not only does it get all of remastered albums in one set, it also has a disc of singles and b-sides that weren't widely available before. There are also two live DVDs I didn't own previously and a really cool photo booklet. If you're a big fan of the band or looking for the right gift for a fan, I'd highly recommend this set.

    I haven't had a chance to listen to all the discs yet, but the first three have been excellent as expected. I bought this set because I have the originals on vinyl and they are from back in the day, all a little worn. I decided to upgrade and this is exactly what I was looking for. The Eagles have always been one of my favorites! I read a few reviews here that there were no liner notes and some of the discs were copies. I haven't found any of that. True the orginal liner notes are not there but there is a book that outlines the full history. In the next few days I'll get all the discs played. If there are any issues I'll update this review. Very happy with my purchase. A must buy if you're an Eagles fan.

    You really can't ask for more from the band. Legacy contains every Eagles studio album and live album ever recorded. In addition, you get the dvd for Hell Freezes Over as well as the blu ray for the Farewell Tour: Melbourne performance. Again, everything is wonderful! The Eagles are one of the best bands to come out of the 1970s! Get this Legacy boxed set while it's still available!
