At 70% dark, this is not a chocolate where you're likely to eat the entire bar. This much stronger taste is rewarding but takes time to get used to. I like that they've used Erythritol and Stevia to sweeten it which lowers the carb count significantly. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol which might cause digestive problems if you eat a lot of this chocolate.An entire bar is 38 grams of carbs, but it also has 16 grams of fiber yielding an effective carb count of 22g per bar. This is a LOT more than the 4 net carbs per half bar in the product description.The chocolate itself is smooth and nice to eat, for me it goes well with a cappuccino. Recommended if you want chocolate and would like to reduce your overall consumption. A little goes a long way.

    I like them. They are big. the shipping is ridiculous. they take forever. its says three days but it not three days from shipping so it took nearly a week. thats insane for chocolate so if you want it fast. I do not recommend but as a product itself. its really good.

    I’m a shut-in who had an urge for Lily’s plain extra dark (70%, not really “extra” dark). Believe it or not, these were actually cheaper than buying them in the grocery store. But I had to buy four of them. ALL arrived melted. They were just tossed into a plastic bag and mailed. No “protection,” not even any bubble wrap and no noticing that these were being sent to South Texas where it’s still blazing hot. So not only were they melted, they’d been broken into several pieces (likely before they melted).
    As for the bars themselves, nothing will beat a dark chocolate bar made with real sugar, which I can no longer have. I find the flavor to be pretty good, all things considered. What is odd is that some of these taste different from each other. I don’t know why that is, but the texture is also variable. Sometimes they’re kind of “grainy,” and other times they’re nice and creamy. All said, they’re great for someone who can’t handle sugar or the other kinds of sweeteners. Just don’t expects Amazon to package them properly.

    I've ordered from this company a few times and it's been hit or miss when it comes to delivery and the condition of the chocolate. The chocolate itself is great, I love it! However, sometimes they do not ship with an ice pack, which has not only left melted chocolate in my mailbox, but even when it doesn't melt it's oxidized and the chocolate tastes old! I ordered a larger pack ($46) once and all of the bars were expired! I've ordered 4 times now and twice have been extremely disappointed. Learning my lesson - don't bother buying online. At least not from whoever is shipping through Amazon.
