- Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2019Style: Motorized ElevatorVerified PurchaseI've bought marble run sets in the past but this is by far the best quality. The pieces are fairly large (comparatively speaking) and made of thick plastic. The elevator portion works well and my kids (ages 4 and 7) love playing with this set. It comes with a bunch of pieces, though somehow, it's never enough anyhow :)
The packaging is nice, but it's just a regular box, so I would recommend purchasing some sort of bin or container to store the pieces.
Ultimately, i'm very happy with this set and will buy add-on pieces/sets from this brand in the future.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2025Style: Motorized ElevatorVerified PurchaseIt was NOT easy to set up. An adult needs to do it. I found laying the elevator tower on its side made it alot easier to assemble. I followed the instructions to build my run. Then added another set above the run. After much trial and error, I got it all working. My 6 year old would never have been able to do it but she loves playing with it! I find myself using it even when she's not home. Lol
- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2021Style: Motorized ElevatorVerified PurchaseI bought this for my grandkids for Christmas. It definitely took an adult to put it together but when it was done my grandkids had hours of fun playing with it. You can make several different types of runs but the instructions are not in English, therefore you have to look at pictures to put it together and just hope it's right. I myself tried but found it too complicated, my 26 year old son did a great job but it did take him about an hour figuring it out. I must say, they played with it forever.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2021Style: Motorized ElevatorVerified PurchaseWe have two sets of MindWare's marble runs and they are a lot of fun to play with! Some pieces have been broken and there are times when trying to get everything level can be a challenge, but only on very intricate and large constructions. The elevator is really fun - although a bit loud. Feels like a quality product that I would buy again.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2020Style: Motorized ElevatorVerified PurchaseWe manage to get it configured and functioning, but it took 5 adults to do it. While attempting to follow the step by step instructions we had zero luck. The step by step instructions feature a foot piece that was not included in our set so it wouldn't stand up. The little funnels look like the foot piece in the picture, but they don't fit into the bottom of the tubes so they cannot function as a foot.
In the end we literally looked at one of the various pictures on the box that didn't feature the missing foot and were able to get it built. Very frustrating to have so much trouble on 3yo birthday. Shame on me for not building it the night before I guess, but I wasn't expecting it to be that terrible.
The step with the foot is number 8, "Complete the last support tower by adding 5 tubes, one Swirl Slide and a base. Place a Marble Catcher under the Swirl Slide." Our set did not come with a base piece.
Now that it's built it functions well and our son loves it, however I will mention that the elevator squeaks loudly and there isn't any obvious way to lubricate the gear / shaft that is squeaking as it is all packed tight inside a housing.
I'd recommend saving yourself the headache of the missing foot and the squeaking and get one of the build it yourself sets where you can customize the configuration.
