This is a very cute cake topper and ended up being perfect to poke into our ice cream cake as the dowels it sticks to are quite sturdy. My daughter thought it was great. However, it is very delicate and though decently packaged, arrived with several creases in it. Also, the mermaid tail was askew and the colors were a little duller than I'd expected. I think it's a little over priced, but since I was unable to find anything comparable, it ended up being worth it for us. My niece is very excited to reuse it at her own mermaid party and I'm glad that it'll get two uses for the cost.

The adhesive stuck very well for standing it up with the supplied sticks. I was very happy with it. It came just as it was pictured. Very pretty.

    I was very disappointed in these cake decorations. I made a Little Mermaid cake for my granddaughter and I was expecting to receive what was shown on the cake. If I had known that the designs were basically cardboard cut into a design, and glitter added to them, with 2 skewers, I wouldn't have ordered it. Disappointed is putting it mildly. I went ahead and used it simple because it was for my granddaughter - not worth the 8.00 I paid for it.
