PROG!!!!
This is an easy purchase for prog and Neal Morse fans. Picture and sound (stereo only) are excellent. The band sounds tight and the vocal harmonies are sublime. I saw them on this tour at Morsefest 2017 so this BR will hold me over until that one is released!

    Neil Morse both as a solo artist and a member of the NSB has been quite prolific. Musically he seems to seems to deliver on a regular basis. While not exactly a fan of overtly Christian music (Neil does tend to mine that style to a fault), this particular concert:recording tends to tamper things down and takes a more subtle approach. Band is great. Mike and Eric in particular shine and when all members sing the harmonies are sublime.
    For those unfamiliar with the Neil Morse Band this is a great place to start.

    This album is what I consider Neal’s best concept album yet. Based on the book “the Pilgrim’s Progress”, every song will challenge you to examine the depth of your character as you journey with Neal to follow in the footsteps of the Christian traveler on his rollercoaster purpose through life. Excellent presentation overall, as well as high quality musicianship from all band members, mature showmanship, and a good sound mix too. So thankful they made a professional dvd of this prog rock gem!

    Maybe Neal Morse Band’s finest concept work to date, live in concert in its entirety. Would have enjoyed some behind the scenes bonus footage, interviews, on the road banter, etc. just the show in one take from beginning to end. Good camera work, you see all the solos and awesome talent close up. Good deal and a must have for NMB fans.

Anyone, and I mean anyone, who gives this group a listen will be a fan for life. Similtude of a Dream itself is in my top 10 albums/cd's of all time. And this live version captures it all.

You will not be disappointed.. the only ,but not greatly, disappointment is there is no behind the scenes footage. For 2 disc set I was hoping for the footage. Regardless Get this now!!!

    I got to experience this masterpiece live and the Blu Ray is the second best thing to watching it live. The performances are stunning. Watching Portnoy play is a total joy and Eric Gillete is one of the best guitarists today. Buy two of these and give one to the musically less fortunate.

C'est au-dessus de" Morsefest 2017", dans lequel on retrouve Similitude en entier, également. Mais c'est le deuxième soir. Là à Tilburg le groupe se concentre sur l'album The Similitude of a Dream (qui est une splendeur en studio déjà). Son et image, superbes. Version de "Momentum" fabuleuse. C'est cadeau!

    Habe Neil Morse Band 2015 auf der Loreley gesehen und 2016 die CD „The Similitude of a Dream“ gekauft war nun endlich froh das es einen Livemitschnitt gibt auch wenn es da keinen 5.1 Sound gibt ist es im Stereo gut. Ich kann an meinen AV Verstärker noch EXT Stereo einschalten was den Sound noch besser macht.
