To be able to use this not even a month later I have to wrap it in tape somehow ***EDIT- Yes, even though this review is true in its entirety this company reached out and offered a replacement and a refund. Totally unheard of and unnecessary. As much as my little one loves the sound of a rain stick I didn’t turn down a replacement one bit. An absolute pleasure to buy from this company and will continue too in the future because of the customer service alone.

    I was looking for a rainstick for my classroom and settled on this one. It makes a really nice sound but the beads fall so fast that unless you really control and go super slow with tilting it, it all falls down fast. I wish the mechanism inside would allow for a little bit more of a trickle, but it will do for a cheap addition to my classroom.

    I got this for my grandson who is a toddler. He liked it right away, but it fell apart and was completely unsafe for any child. Not worth the money. His mom replaced it with a plastic model and is much more suitable. I really don’t know what age this would be appropriate for, but there are better rain sticks on the market.
