I paid for 42 count but shipmemt box read 38 count plus 4 free. If 4 count should been free then there is no savings by paying for 42. This product performs as promised and I will buy it again. But from a different vendor.

    We purchase these for my 13 year old son with severe autism. We wanted to dry the Depends because the ones we had previously purchased would not hold his urine at night and I would end up washing his blankets and sheets everyday.
    At our local Wal-Mart store 20 of these Depends are 28.00. We decided to purchase them on Amazon because the price difference and the amount you get exceed what we could purchase locally. They are also made for men, so I don't have to wash his sheets and blankets everyday.

    After years of buying "Depends" and being very satisfied, this is the second time recently that they have been defective. Definite manufacturing AND quality control problem - they fall apart just putting them on. My dad didn't want to tell me he was having problems - just got very frustrated - I found out why and trashed the rest of them. Might as well buy generics for much better pricing if the quality has gotten so poor.

Yes, there are other models--most requiring you to strap yourself in and, in a best-case example, wear them while they slip to your knees! And if that's not scary, then nothing is!!     This works great for me especially on my frequent trips - either flying or driving. I no longer feel the pressure of rushing to a washroom. I never had to go in the underwear but it allowed me to manage my washroom trips better and without anxiety. I used it on several transpacific flights plus connections - a total of 18 hours. The underwear held up. I no longer feel anxious about going on long trips.

    The underwear is well made, and sturdy considering it is designed to be disposable. It is also comfortable. It does not show even when going through a pat down at airport checkpoints.

    I have not tested the absorbency of the underwear.
