Brilliant live recording by this most excellent band. The sound here is impeccable with everyone being particularly captured beautifully. This disc really showcases the band in it's heyday. Much of the material performed is from the 'Deadwing' album, possibly their best disc. It also sprinkles in other songs from some of their other best albums. I say this simply because every single album by this band is genius. Steven Wilson is absolutely killer on guitar, but Gavin Harrison is notably the star here with his work on drums being quite simply phenomenal. But the entire band shows why this particular line-up is IMHO the best formation of this band. John Wesley is fantastic on backing vocals and guitar. And Colin Edwin and Richard Barbieri are fantastic on bass and keyboards respectfully. This disc includes some of my very favorite PT material and is recorded to studio high standards. Steven Wilson is absolutely one of the greatest musicians/producers in the history of rock and his contributions here are a thing of beauty. All in all this disc is a must own for any PT fan or for any prog rock fan due to its near perfection. I own all their music and this disc rates highly in my opinion. Play the blu-ray loud, I blew a speaker playing it so loud. A fitting sacrifice! Buy it before the price skyrockets!

- Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2023Been a Porcupine Tree listener for about 12 years or so.
It’s a live album, which isn’t my favorite, because I like studio albums that are an attempt at perfecting music. Which is impossible. But always worth the try!
However, when I listen to the song “Arriving Somewhere, but not here”; I get a charge from the song and it gives me a boost in my energy level as I’m riding my exercise machine. Fantastic.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2020This concert Bluray is outstanding. I've become a bigger fan of these guys after watching this. The performance is excellent. I like the song choices: There are a lot of songs from Deadwing which is my favorite studio album now. Their ability to handle quiet and loud passages is much better than most bands in concert.
The sound quality of the 2 channel mix is excellent. The video is Good considering it isn't HD. They did an artsy mix of the footage with various effects, which works for this type of video. Normally I don't like it when they change angles every few seconds, but it works for this.
And then there is Gavin. My God is he an awesome drummer. His drums are mixed well and he's playing spectacular. I have a new respect for him after seeing this.
Buy it if you like Porcupine Tree at all.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2021Is it me or is this bluray sound output too high...i have the dvd also and the audio only rip sounds better( to me)...
- Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2018Great concert, great sound, terrific performances. My only gripe is with the Blu Ray, which is minor. if you are watching & you want to go back to the MAIN MENU, you have to eject the disc & start all over again. It doesn't seem to allow you access to the MAIN MENU to make modifications on AUDIO SETUP or any other options once you've begun. You can FAST FORWARD or SKIP though. I am also finding that if you stop the disc & later hit play, it defaults back to the MAIN MENU & you lose your place. I realize this is normal if you hit stop twice, but not once. I compared the original DVD release & the new improved Blu Ray. I personally like the sound on the DVD better. The Blu Ray is a bit too heavy on the bass.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2018Get this if you like Porcupine Tree or Prog in general. I'm a new convert to PT and Steven Wilson having grown up a Prog fan of the 70s. I'm having a hard time listening to anything other than the PT catalog now and this Blu-Ray is an awesome sampling of some great PT music.
For some reason, the Amazon listing calls this an audio CD but it is in fact a Blu-Ray along with the music on Audio CD. Also not mentioned in the description is that it includes some nice bonus material on the Blu-Ray with a promo version of Lazarus, Cymbal Song showing Gavin's multiple overlays of cymbal tracks and some excerpt videos from Rockpalast.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2021Yes, what a great show, of course Porcupine Tree always delivered live, I was lucky enough to have seen the live 8 times, and they were always great live, and this was a great DVD and should have been released on CD as well when it was first released, but it is out now so I'm very happy to have it on CD at pst.
