Editorial Reviews

Review

"Well researched and simplified. "The clear concise relevancy of the information is accurate, I recommend all of my patients with Medicare questions to reference this book first. " - Dr. H. N Johnson.
Verified Customer: " I was not sure if my doctor would accept my Medicare plan, as I had the choice to keep my employee coverage or switch to Medicare. I was ok with switching my Primary Care Physician, but my Specialist saved my life, and I needed to find out for sure which plan would have my doctor in network. The information in this book not only helped me pick my plan, it contains details of Medigap and Medicare Advantage plans Pros & Cons. Thankfully I read this book before making a decision, the value is tremendous."

This book provides information about Medicare in a format that is very easy to understand. However, it also helps one to understand just how complicated Medicare actually is!

Not really an depth reference to Medicare. Very basic. The subject can bee daunting and the author does little to make the task of navigating Medicare easier.

Very nice job of explaining comprehensive details about Medicare and all the associated aspects... If you want to feel more confident about Medicare, this is a special read.

After reading this i purchased the "Get What's Yours for Medicare" book. In my opinion, this is a better alternative as it is both better organized and more comprehensive.

Clear, concise, and unbiased. I'm grateful I got this book! Nearing age 65, the phone calls from insurance carriers begin, and it can get very confusing. This book helped bring the information together.

This book stands as proof that anyone with a computer and an internet connection can become an author. In 104 double spaced large print pages the author purports to deliver a "Complete Comprehensive Guide" on a very large and complex government system. The author's disclosure at the beginning is all you need to know about this book. On the second page "Purchasing this book can be seen as consent to the FACT that both the publisher and the author of this book are in NO WAY experts on the topics discussed within..."
Save your money, the "Official US Government Medicare handbook" is free and far more informative and authoritative.
