So I am a review reader. I base alot of decisions based on reviews and really read the negative reviews thoroughly. I almost did not buy this based on the reviews. There were 2 that said it did not fit a S'well bottle. It definitely DOES fit a S'well 25 oz. bottle, which make me wonder why people would review an item poorly that specifically says it does not fit (S'well 17oz and Sip 15oz bottles). How is it the seller's fault that a customer can not read? Others said when you sucked the straw the cap made a loud whistling noise. It DOES NOT. It is totally silent. And still others said they got mostly air when they sucked. This can only be from failure to attach the straw to the cap completely. Granted, there are absolutely zero directions, but sometimes you have to use common sense.Pros:1 hand drinkinghandleclip (i can now carry this 25oz monster on my backpack)colorqualityno taste or smelleliminates the 'chalk board' squeak of the std capit works (and works very well)I do have to note 2 cons for me:1) The insulated value is less.     I have had these straws and top on my water bottle for a month or so now and they are still in tip top shape! I have only used one straw and its still working great (I know I should wash it soon, don't judge). I got my water bottle from Marshall's and I was surprised that this top fit it so well!     I bought a Mira 25 oz bottle, and saw this product on the same page. I opted to go ahead and purchase this, and I am SO GLAD I DID!! It fits my bottle perfectly, and comes with extra plastic straws. I was concerned that my water might not stay as cold with this lid as with the original, but yesterday I forgot and left my bottle in my car. 4 hours later in 100 degree summer weather, I got back in my car and took a drink. The water was as cold as when I left it 4 hours earlier! Great purchase. Makes my bottle more convenient and easy to drink out of. I highly recommend this product!

    When I first received this I would have given it 4 stars because it fit and didn't leak...did the job.

    But now that I have had it for 2 months I am so disappointed! When it arrived the mouthpiece rubber seemed a bit sticky/tacky and very soft but I just went with it because there were so many good reviews. After 2 months of using it there are so many tears and holes in it I can barely drink out of it because so much air comes in. I'm just waiting for the whole mouth piece straw part to totally fall off. I wish I could attach a picture but the button isn't working. I'd love to return it but I don't know if I can at this point

    This works great with my Swell bottle. It makes drinking water at the gym much easier than having to tilt my head back each time. It allows you to fill the Swell with liquid a little bit more to the top also since it doesn't have a lid that goes in as deep as the one that comes with the bottle. It also gives the Swell bottle a nice handle, so I can carry it by just putting a couple fingers through the loop. I purchased two - one for my 17 oz and 25 oz Swell bottles.

    So the lid fits on the S'well bottle but unfortunately if you lay the bottle on its side it will leak a little. I didnt realize that until it slowly leaked on my text book :( now my book has a bunch of wrinkled pages... Not the end of the world but wish i would have noticed sooner.

    This lid worked well for a while. It's easy enough to clean with a straw brush, and the suction was fine.
    After a little while, I found that it made a noise when I sucked as though some air was escaping the straw, making it quite embarassing to use with other people around.
    The nail in the coffin though was when I noticed that the rubber around the end of the mouthpiece started to pill and degrade. I didn't bite it or hold it in my mouth for long periods, so I expected it to last longer than around 8 months.
    If you're aiming for a sustainble solution, find an alternative with a stainless steel or solid plastic mouthpiece.
    I'm now back in the market for a straw lid for a 750ml bottle!
