About Us
Founded in Napoli by Serafino Perugino, as a business specialized in Melodic Rock indie labels in February 1996, Frontiers soon developed as one of the cutting edge indie label companies in Melodic and Hard Rock Music. After a developing a partnership - which lasted the few initial years with the British production company Now & Then (who brought bands and artists like TEN, HAREM SCAREM, CROWN OF THORNS, JORN and several others into the label’s roster) - along with a careful and aggressive A&R policy, Frontiers has soon become synonymous with quality Classic and Melodic Hard Rock, Progressive and Metal music in the international markets.
Achieving this from the headquarters in Napoli, was not an easy task, but the well-oiled and highly ambitious team, managed in a few years to release new albums from some of Rock true giants. The list includes: DEF LEPPARD, TOTO, WHITESNAKE, YES, JOURNEY, ALAN PARSONS, MICHAEL BOLTON, SURVIVOR, SEBASTIAN BACH, STYX, ASIA, JEFF LYNNE and ELO, HEART, BLACKMORE’S NIGHT, GLENN HUGHES, Y&T, FOREIGNER, EXTREME, SAMMY HAGAR, WINGER, URIAH HEEP, DANGER DANGER, RICK SPRINGFIELD, HOUSE OF LORDS, REO SPEEDWAGON, STRYPER, MR BIG, TED NUGENT, NIGHT RANGER, PRIMAL FEAR, NELSON, WARRANT, GREAT WHITE, DENNIS DEYOUNG and many more!
Besides that, Frontiers also set up during this time many exciting new projects and bands to release of Rock's finest voices, or give some still established artists the chance to show a new side of their musical personality! Shining examples are REVOLUTION SAINTS (featuring Deen Castronovo ex-Journey, Doug Aldrich ex-Whitesnake and Jack Blades of Night Ranger), RATED X (feat. Joe Lynn Turner, Carmine Appice, Tony Franklin and Karl Cochran), W.E.T (with Jeff Scott Soto and members of Eclipse and Work of Art), THE DARK ELEMENT (featuring ex-Nightwish singer Anette Olzon and ex-Sonata Arctica guitarist Jani Liimatainen) not forgetting the evolution of KANSAS' Billy Greer and his SEVENTH KEY release, from a studio project to a real live band and the stunning PRIDE OF LIONS, featuring former SURVIVOR main songwriter Jim Peterik and vocal star Toby Hitchcock.
And of course a ton of exciting new talent launched during the years (from ECLIPSE to ONE DESIRE and INGLORIOUS, to CRAZY LIXX, LORDS OF BLACK, WORK OF ART and of course several others) which is now where the A&R focus of the label is.
Frontiers Records' foreword has always been to dream together with the thousands of people that love quality Rock music. Achieving this means constant hard work from a well-oiled and highly ambitious team at the Frontiers Records headquarters in Napoli, Italy.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2018W.E.T. is back with an extremely evocative collection of melodic AOR songs that hearkens back to the day when melody, hook and rhythm ruled the rock world. When this Frontiers Records “all-star” line-up was first unleashed upon the world with their debut in 2009 I was skeptical, but was quickly converted by their musical/melodic genius. Their sound is infectious, and once engrained in your head – hard to remove. Afterall, Jeff Scott Soto on vocals brings a lot of credibility to the mix. And Erik Martensson has the song-writing that makes this music irresistible – these songs are so catchy that you won’t be able to get the hooks out of your head for weeks. 2013’s Rise Up was just a bit of a let-up from the fantastic debut, but rest assured, Earthrage is a very mature-sounding collection of songs.
When I first listened to this on Amazon’s music library I was a bit non-plussed. But when I popped the CD into the hi-fi DAC player on my main system I was taken aback – this recording is gorgeous. Soto’s vocals soar, the keyboards jump out of the speakers and the guitars seem a bit more intricate, passionate and cutting than anything I remember from this band. There is a professional sound that pours forth from the speakers that is quite refreshing in this era of “over-compressed” digital music. I love how the lead track eases in with a guitar/key vibe, somewhat reminiscent of the 80’s, and then the drums pound out the rhythm that puts this song on the map. It’s not overly heavy, but yet there is a “cleaness” here that defies the current musical trends. The next two songs are equally enthralling, with plenty of guitar lead and vocal brilliance. “Elegantly Wasted” is a bit of a diversion from what this band has been crafting for nearly a decade, but it works on a melodic level. What follows (for the next 3 songs) perfectly defines this band’s M.O. “Urgent” is my favorite track here, just the perfect mix of heaviness, rhythm, hook and catchiness. This is quickly followed by the passionate gem “Dangerous.” “Calling Out Your Name” brings this perfect trio of songs to conclusion. Every song here has a great hook. While I don’t think this surpasses the debut in terms of its magical quality, these songs have a maturity and catchiness that is hard to surpass. Fans of melodic AOR rock/metal will not be disappointed.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2018Earthrage is an awesome third cd from the band W.E.T.
1. Watch The Fire- Great track. Awesome vibe as Soto and Erik trade vocals. Excellent lyrics and guitar. Punches you in the mouth. 10/10
2. Burn- A great song to keep the momentum going. 10/10
3. Kings On Thunder Road- Great fist pumping song. 10/10
4. Elegantly Wasted- Sorry I know I will be the minority here. I just cannot get into this tune. I loved the ballad "If I Fall" off their self entitled but this does nothing for me. Sorry. 5/10
5. Urgent- The band is back on track with a great melodic and guitar and keyboard filled winner. 9/10
6. Dangerous- I think this track is the pure sense of W.E.T. Soto is great, good chorus. 10/10
7. Calling Out Your Name- Nice keyboard intro. Good tune. 9/10
8. Heart Is On the Line- Okay ballad. Would of liked another rocker in place of it. 7/10.
9. I Don't Wanna Play That Game- Good guitar and melodies. 9/10
10. The Burning Pain of Love- Love the intensity of Soto's voice in this track. Pure W.E.T. sound. 9/10
11. The Never-Ending Retraceable Dream- Good, solid song to end the album. 9/10
Overall, the album I think is a little better than "Rise Up." Great maturity and songwriting. Soto rocks as always!!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2018Strong performance, well worth the money if your a fan. If new tot he band try the second CD. I just liked it a bit more but this is a strong performance and glad I purchased it.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2018Another incredible display of finesse, power, and creativity by this genuine super group, named after the bands of key members Robert Sall of Work of Art (the "W" in W.E.T.), Erik Martensson of Eclipse (the "E"), and Jeff Scott Soto of Talisman (the "T"). Things get off to a great start with the opening track "Watch the Fire" and don't let down much, if at all, from there. Other harder tinged tracks are "Dangerous" and "Calling Your Name." Two of the last three tracks, "I Don't Wanna Play That Game" and "The Burning Pain of Love" are rousing AOR anthems. Every song is worth the price of the entire album. The entire album is simply outstanding and a testament to the talents of each member of the band. I pre-ordered this album over two months in advance of its release date without having heard a single note, that is how confident I was that, based on their first two albums, I would not be disappointed and I am not disappointed. Highly recommended for all fans of Work of Art, Eclipse, and Talisman in particular and all fans of melodic hard rock, with AOR influences, in general.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2018Great writing, great guitar, great vocals. If you enjoyed their first two albums, you will enjoy this one as well. If you are new to this group, I would probably recommend 2013's Rise Up ahead of this one, but only just slightly. If you are a fan of well-written, catchy, melodic rock, you should give this group a chance and this is a great album.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2018After listening to Erik Mårtensson's band, Eclipse, and project with Pretty Maid's singer Ronnie Atkins (Nordic Union), WET's debut CD was decent but I think the band got better and better as the next CD came out. Earthrage being the best. Jeff Scott Soto blends the vocal styles of Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen), Kelly Hansen (Hurricane, Foreigner), and Lou Gramm (Foreigner).
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2018Another great project from these guys. Eclipse is my favorite band and these songs go right along with that style. LOVE IT! Why can't American groups crank out great stuff like this?! Thankful for Frontiers Music!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2018I wish this band would concentrate on being a band rather than a side project. This disc is really good. There is not a bad song on this disc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best cd by Wet so far
Best cd by Wet so far. Too bad they are not more well known in North America! This might be the best pop metal album of the year! Jeff & Eric's vocals as usual are outstanding & Magnus's guitar leads are superb!

5.0 out of 5 stars Album hard rock con tendenza all'AOR.
Tutte le 11 tracce sono molto piacevoli. Non siamo in presenza, secondo me, di hit da urlo, ma l'album fila via liscio senza mai avere un momento di cedimento dall'inizio alla fine e che non è poco!

5.0 out of 5 stars W.E.T.s best ever album!
In my humble opinion this is without doubt W.E.T.s best ever album to date, I liked their debut album but did not enjoy it as much as many, however that being said it was still a 5 star album all the way! Once I settled down in my easy chair and pushed play the first thing that struck me was this albums production, just PERFECT!, BBB? Big Bold and Bombastic! this is as good as the production ever gets! then I listened to all the songs and wrote this review for Amazon. Simply put this is as good as melodic rock music ever gets,"Earthrage" really is that good! it will be one of the best melodic rock albums this year or any year come to that! so do yourself a favor and CHECK THIS OUT NOW!

4.0 out of 5 stars 良質なHR。
