- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2024Smooth read I enjoyed the realistic ideas and challenges to help you meet your goals . The ideas from this book was relatively straightforward and relevant for people who struggle with financial literacy. No spend is something I heard but I needed to be educated on how to get start planning, and ideas to keep me focused. This was a enjoyable read!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2025I enjoyed it. Short read. Good advice. A little repetitive but worth the read. Excited to try my first no spend challenge.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2022I have looked at so many budgeting books, etc. All my beginnings of trying to save money have failed. But this book. It literally felt like the Author was talking to me. Knew me. Knew my habits. I have never had an author get through to me like this book and author has. I usually never leave reviews. This one. I HAD to. It is by far the best book I have ever read to help me with my impulsive spending and to start me on the right path. The author knows what she is talking about. A must read.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2022Unfortunately this book does not tell you anything you cannot read for free on the internet with a simple google search so in itself was rather defeating its purpose of saving money. It does provide some "useful" links, some of which did not work for me. Overall three stars is more than sufficient.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2024I like the simplicity this book describes. I have been trying to get on a logical budget and this helps so much.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2024A terrific jump start for me to start saving more. The book is mostly directed to the younger set, so not all applied to my circumstances. I just want to stop impulse buying and wasting money on clothes I don’t need.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2022I loved reading this book, and now will use it as a reference. It's a resource that can be briefly read for a motivation and idea booster, but then used as a source of reference materials and deeper study if there are ideas of greater interest. So well written. An actually deep and serious problem ( Debt) , but presented as manageable on a daily basis through a myriad of ideas presented in such a way that a little deprivation sounds like an interesting challenge!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2017I do like this. It makes sense ,is user friendly. Has ideas none of the other books have, An let’s you no that your going to make mistakes. It’s not all or nothing An how to get back at it quickly without throwing in the towel. It recommends other books to help you on this journey An a big one for me budgets don’t work right off the bat. I hate the envelope method. This book does not recommend it either but let’s u choose. I’m not good having cash on hand. $20 works for me for 2 weeks $10 of that goes for gas. As for as cash in my pocket Not every idea is a knock your socks off but the author talks with you not at you. This works for me. I’m sure putting all my faith in this an few other books that I can do this this time.

5.0 out of 5 stars I like this so much
I really like this little book. I have implemented a Wednesday each week as a no spend day and once I get used to it I will give myself longer challenges. I am also focusing on value and if I really need whatever it is I am going to buy.
I was thinking about doing a no spend day and now I have started. I like that when I buy a product and actually do something with the information. I would recommend the book if you are looking to use your money a little more wisely.

2.0 out of 5 stars Schwieriger Schreibstil, zu teuer

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent read
More of a collection of blogs than a book. Useful though, and the spend challenge is something worth doing. Wish more of the book actually deep dived into the challenge.
